This is a new and pivotal leadership role at The Green Estate at an exciting time of change. This role will require significant fundraising experience across multiple income streams, combined with leadership qualities and a track record of delivering ambitious fundraising targets and business growth.

The Role
Key Responsibilities
- To support the charity in the development of a climate action strategy
- Develop and oversee Islamic Help’s climate change advocacy campaigns and projects.
- Liaise with relevant UN Agencies, attending forums, submitting reports and ensuring Islamic Help is represented on relevant wider coordination platforms.
- Work in consultation with the Director of International Programmes & Partnerships and various sustainability experts, to assist with the development of the Children’s Eco Village programme in Tanzania including site management, child-focused programmes, budgeting and fundraising.
- To identify individual programmes and priorities for children in the Eco Village for their development as well as environmental projects for the general development of the Children’s Eco Village
- To develop fundraising strategies in consultation with the team for the Children’s Eco Village as well as the projects within it
- Assist Islamic Help’s offices worldwide with materials and resources including sustainable practices as well as progress reports on ongoing projects and feedback on completed projects.
- Develop a climate action volunteering programme to get more people involved in Islamic Help’s environmental projects as well as campaigning and advocacy.
- To identify funding opportunities, locally, nationally and internationally that will contribute to the development of Islamic Help’s climate strategy including corporate and institutional markets.

Exciting opportunity for a Risk & Audit Manager to join a global international development Organisation to improve the internal audit and risk management processes. To lead the function and push the department to a higher level.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Develop and execute an annual internal audit plan, prioritising audit activities based on identified risks and strategic objectives.
- Ensure that audits are carried out and documented in accordance with recognised auditing standards, gathering robust evidence to support findings.

Job Purpose
To support, promote and deliver the strategy of World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (hereafter WAGGGS) within the Europe Region, by working with the Europe Regional Committee to ensure the delivery of the region’s value proposition to Member Organisations (MOs). To lead WAGGGS operations in the Europe Region, to ensure the effective liaison between the region and the wider organisation, and in partnership with national Member Organisations (MOs) and external partners, when applicable, to achieve the objectives of regional action plan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. In conjunction with the Regional Committee finalize, implement and monitor the 2025 Regional Action Plan to ensure the delivery of WAGGGS Global Strategy at a regional level.
2. Under the framework of WAGGGS Global Strategy, work in collaboration with the Regional Committee to develop the Europe Region Triennial Action Plan 2026- 2029 and a strong consultation process with Member Organisations to include the Europe Voluntary Contribution review.

Childhood Cancer International (CCI) is a global association made up of parent, survivor and civil organisations dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with cancer, along with their families. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Fundraiser to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in securing international grants and funding to support our programmes and initiatives around the world. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in successfully obtaining international grants and securing funding from diverse sources.
Base: International Scope, Home-based (with preference to individual based in upper-middle or high income country), with occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
1. Research and Identify Funding Opportunities

Conduct thorough research to identify international grant opportunities, funding agencies/foundations/institutions and other potential donors.

Monitor international grant databases, donor directories, and relevant funding portals to stay updated on available funding opportunities.

Evaluate eligibility criteria, guidelines and application requirements of potential grants and funding sources
2. Grant Proposal Development
- With the ED and the CCI Board (and in collaboration with the global Programme Manager) to develop targeted and compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.

Prepare high-quality proposals/grant applications, including budgets, project narratives, monitoring framework for impact assessments, and any additional documentation required.

Tailor proposals to meet the specific requirements and expectations of each funding opportunity.
3. Relationship Building and Networking
- Cultivate relationships with international funding agencies, philanthropic organisations, corporate partners, and other potential global donors to expand CCI's network and funding base.

With the ED, identify and create new relationships with high net-worth individuals to expand CCI's funding base.

Utilize networks, platforms and other avenues to enhance the CCI brand and increase our network and relationships towards attracting potential donors.

Assist the ED in developing an effective fundraising strategy aligned with CCI's strategic plan.

If and when required, attend conferences, workshops, and fundraising events to build connections, to identify and develop funding opportunities.
-
With ED, maintain regular communication with existing donors, keeping them informed about CCI's progress and impact.
4. Grant Management and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements, including tracking deliverables, reporting deadlines, and financial requirements.

Work closely with ED and CCI members to provide accurate and timely progress reports to donors.

With the ED, maintain records of grants, funding applications, and donor interactions.
5. Marketing
- With the ED, evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communication techniques and assist in make necessary adjustments.

Reach a greater number of supporters and donors through innovative marketing strategies; including, with the ED, the creation of new and innovative fundraising campaigns, or the linking of current events and campaigns to fundraising outcomes.

Collaborate with the ED and the Communications Manager on the development of communications and marketing materials.
6. General Fundraising Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with current trends, strategies, and best practices in international fundraising and grant writing.

Participate in professional development opportunities, training sessions, and workshops to enhance fundraising skills and knowledge, as well as knowledge and understanding of the childhood cancer sector.

Any other fundraising activity as requested by the ED.
Qualifications:
-
A tertiary qualification, degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant field (for example in international development, marketing or communications).

A minimum of proven four years’ experience in international fundraising, grant writing, and securing funding from diverse sources.

Familiarity with international grant databases, donor directories, and funding portals. You should have an existing network of funders and donors.

Research and analytical skills.
-
Strong writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling grant proposals.
-
Experience in developing budgets for grant applications.
-
Ability to work independently, under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Remuneration and working conditions:

This is a senior and key role within the Finance Directorate. The Head of Strategic Finance will provide leadership, expertise, and hands-on support in the following areas

Ensuring value-added delivery and financial control analysis and resource allocation process concerning Finance input, manage and develop the staffing resources of the team.
Actively involved in problem solving and working collaboratively with the programme teams in the decision-making processes and co-leads the periodic budget re-allocation process with the Finance Director.
Working with the Head of Business Development, Director of Programmes, and Business Development Managers to develop and maintain grant management guidance and procedures.

About You -We are looking for someone with substantial financial leadership experience.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
- Proven track record of leading a finance team and providing professional finance business support, preferably within a fast-paced organisation.
- Experienced in preparing organisational budgets for an international or multi-site business.
- Experience of hands-on Financial Modelling, Multi-year Financial planning with Scenario analysis with recommendations to steer management decision.

- To lead on identification of partnerships in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.
