The role will support the organisation with with social media management, content creation, campaign support, community management, evaluation, and team coordination
Key responsibilities:
- Develop platform-specific content, including TikTok videos, member stories, and explanatory content on the Charities purpose
- Assist in community management on social media platforms, including responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers
- Assist regions, branches, and activists with social media campaign distribution, media library administration, and content creation
- Produce regular social media reports to assess member engagement and content performance
- Manage the organisation team on Canva, consisting of regional, service group, and staff comms, to ensure consistency and quality in visual assets
- Work with all teams within the Communications unit and Press team to design and produce engaging social media content and assets
- Provide temporary staff cover for digital roles as required
Successful candidate profile:
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation, including video editing.
- Creative skills and initiative to generate new social content
- Experience in repurposing press releases and editorial content for social media
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools for team coordination and visual asset creation.

Working pattern: Hybrid, 2/3 days in the office per week
Location: Central London
Duration: 3 month initial contract (likelihood of extension)
Daily Rate: £154-175 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay

Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. These roles will be around two days a week for 10 months and the deadline to apply is 13 May.

This is a remote working position including substantial travel to visit Transition groups and events

The post-holder needs to be England or Wales based as there will be travel required to visit UK Transition groups, and experience of UK communities is essential
