Holder House is a mental health, CQC Registered Residential Care Home, working to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for over 20 years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. We operate a vibrant environment which celebrates every member of the household. We balance the needs of the individuals, the community and the service itself, to create a safe home for everyone. We provide people with a safe place to belong, leading group activities, cooking house meals with residents and dispensing medication. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us.
But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.
Recovery Workers ensure our residents are at the heart of everything we do. They are responsible for inspiring the people who use our services to lead their own recovery, while maintaining their tenancy and independence in the community.

No relevant experience or qualifications are required, as full training will be provided. The right personal qualities, however, are essential. Ataxia UK is looking for a skilled and dedicated Specialist Ataxia Nurse for our new community-based nursing service, focused on supporting individuals with ataxia in the South West of England. The role is a significant development in expanding access to expert and joined-up ataxia care for the ataxia community, particularly in regions currently underserved by neurologists with expertise in the ataxias.
As a Specialist Ataxia Nurse, you will provide personalised, face-to-face, and remote support to patients, assisting them in navigating the NHS and social care systems. Your responsibilities will include supporting patients during medical appointments, coordinating essential therapies such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance understanding and treatment of ataxia. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of resources and information for the ataxia community.
We are looking for an experienced nurse with a background in neurology or chronic disease management and a strong commitment to patient advocacy. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Your role will be vital in ensuring that individuals with ataxia receive timely and appropriate care, helping them to manage their condition and maintain their quality of life.

Green Lodge is a registered nursing service providing 24-hour short break accommodation for up to nine adults with severe learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
Green Lodge offers a safe and friendly environment to carry out your work.
Newly qualified nurses will be considered, and a period of preceptorship will be offered accordingly.
Responsibilities as our Staff Nurse:
You will work closely with residents, providing them with physical and emotional support in all areas of day-to-day life, both inside and outside the home e.g., personal care, mealtimes, recreation, and leisure, attending medical appointments, etc.
Skills and experience of our ideal Staff Nurse:
A motivated team worker committed to helping people with learning disabilities.
A Registered 1st Level Nurse ideally with RNMH/RNLD/RGN qualifications.
