As the Partnerships and Services Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and as such will be a member of the leadership team, to deliver Leaders in Community’s (LiC) work to empower young people and communities to improve quality of life and build a sustainable future in line with the Charity’s vision and mission. The vacancy

You will be central to the leadership and management of Outward Bound and realising the ambition set out in The Next Horizon, leading the financial stewardship of the organisation. You will both oversee the management of the organisation’s financial resources and provide leadership in their utilisation to further the charity’s mission. You will also be responsible for the organisation’s environmental sustainability journey, and for IT, Digital, and trust-wide systems and processes.

The location for the post-holder is flexible, although will require frequent working from the Head Office near Penrith and regular travel for Board, Senior Management and other meetings.

About you

The successful candidate will be central to the leadership and management of the charity in the coming years working closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team. You will be astute, collaborative, risk aware, have an attention to detail and thrive on working in a fast paced environment.

A fully qualified accountant with proven experience at a senior level in a finance role with responsibility across the whole finance function, you will have substantial financial leadership and commercial acumen. Experience in a national level organisation of comparable complexity is also required.

• the presence and role of Christians in the Middle East
• issues of peace, justice and equal rights in Israel and Palestine
• refugees and internally displaced people across the Middle East

Informed by Christian voices from the Middle East, we engage with Bishops and church leaders, politicians, and with our engagement team seek to educate and mobilise the UK public. Resources will be available for the Director to recruit a dedicated advocacy team member to complement their skills and support them and the team to achieve Embrace’s advocacy aspirations.

We are looking for someone who can bring to Embrace a wealth of international development partnership and grant making experience, alongside their passion and skills to drive and develop Embrace’s public and private advocacy. Delphside Limited is entering an exciting phase of change, but is mindful of the challenges the mental health care and charity sector as a whole is facing.

To help mitigate this this, we are looking to enhance our Governance and control systems in terms of our financial and administration management.

The role is a temporary role (6-12 months) to help direct and support changes of financial systems, data control processes and to help ensure the current team, including our current Finance Manager, are supported with the implementation of a more up to date and effective way of working.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant, but equally we would welcome applications from individuals who are qualified by experience or accredited qualification (e.g. AAT Level 4, ACCA/ACA qualified etc.) It is essential you have proven experience of delivering strategic leadership in finance, preferably (but not essentially) in the charitable sector and that you can deliver changes of processes and systems.

Knowledge of Sage and also XERO systems would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities :

· Provide full review of current financial controls, identify and implement a new financial I.T./software system suited to service needs.

· Oversee the procurement, implementation and transition to the new financial I.T./software system once it is identified.

· The post holder will assist with the strategic planning and budget preparation for the organisation as well as maintaining the charity's financial accounting systems.

· To provide support to the Finance Manager by overseeing the preparation of the organisation’s accounts for audit in accordance with current accounting good practice and Charity Commission’s Standards of Recommended Practice (SORP)

· Lead, develop and support a small dedicated finance and administration team

· Long term financial planning and assisting the CEO with succession planning in the finance area of the service, including creation of a financial risk register.

· Assist in setting the annual budget and report on performance.

· Oversee timely production by the Finance manager of monthly management accounts and the annual statutory accounts.

· Ensure a robust financial control environment and ensure all treasury and Financial Governance management are in place, suitable and effective.

· The post holder will have responsibility to ensure the organisation is compliant with legal and financial duties associated with those of a Charitable Company reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Trustees.

· Provide proactive assessment of opportunities to deliver efficiencies in collaboration with department heads where necessary.

We’re a thriving advice organisation that is part of the national Citizens Advice network. We provide information, advice and casework support to around 10,000 people a year. About the role

We have a new and worthwhile opportunity as a Project Manager to join the delivery team to increase the impact of our behaviour change work in schools across Wales. You will be working to create a culture that makes it easier for children to walk, wheel, scoot, or cycle.

You will provide project management for 'Active Journeys’, involving effective line management and coordination of a project team of School Officers that deliver behavioural change activities. 

As the Project Manager you will lead in the development of educational resources, supporting the integration of active travel activities in schools. You will also support with organising key events and workshops that showcase Active Travel Schools best practice.

Mae gennym gyfle newydd gwerth chweil i Reolwr Prosiect ymuno â’r tîm cyflenwi i gynyddu effaith ein gwaith newid ymddygiad mewn ysgolion ledled Cymru. Byddwch yn gweithio i greu diwylliant sy’n ei gwneud yn haws i blant gerdded, olwyno, sgwtera neu feicio.

Byddwch yn darparu rheolaeth prosiect ar gyfer ‘Teithiau Iach’, yn cynnwys gwaith rheoli llinell effeithiol a chydlynu tîm prosiect o Swyddogion Ysgol sy’n cynnal gweithgareddau newid ymddygiad. 

Fel Rheolwr Prosiect byddwch yn arwain ar ddatblygiad adnoddau addysgol, yn cefnogi integreiddio gweithgareddau teithio llesol mewn ysgolion. Byddwch hefyd yn cefnogi gyda threfnu digwyddiadau a gweithdai allweddol sy’n arddangos arfer gorau Ysgolion Teithio Llesol.

Bydd y rôl hon yn galw am deithio a gweithio mewn lleoliadau yn ôl y galw i ymgymryd â phrosiectau ar ran Sustrans. Dylai ymgeiswyr fod wedi’u lleoli o fewn yr ardal ddaearyddol a disgwylir ichi deithio yn rheolaidd i’r hwb/lleoliad swyddfa penodedig yng Nghaerdydd.

The Social Enterprise Manager will lead our social enterprises to further their social and environmental impact, and to generate a financial surplus which we use to support people out of homelessness.

We’re looking for someone with great business sense, who can work in a trauma-informed way with companions and other vulnerable adults, who are our beneficiaries and main work force.

What are we looking for?

An accomplished leader with experience of organisational strategy development, planning, organising, managing and developing strategic and operational activities.

You will excel in engaging stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive the development of impactful strategies. Demonstrated success in leading the development of a cross organisational business strategic workplan, and managing programmes through substantial change is essential.

Your expertise in project management, supported by a recognised qualification, will ensure effective implementation using a variety of project management practices, tools, and methodologies.

In addition to your strategic experience, you must possess outstanding communication skills, enabling you to chair meetings, deliver presentations and network. You will also have a collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in partnership with individuals, groups, organisations, and engage with other internal and external stakeholders.

Your experience of developing impact frameworks to identify and measure indicators of success against organisational strategies and the ability to present data in a clear and coherent style, will be crucial.

You will need to possess excellent decision-making skills and confident in making strategic and operational decisions.
