Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will have strategic financial analysis and budgeting ability as well as risk management knowledge and experience. You will be a technically strong with a recognised  qualification such as FCCA, ACA or CIMA. You will have project management experience and experience in financial systems implementation and roll-out. Knowledge and application of Charity governance, legal and compliance processes, including UK GAAP and Charity Commission regulations is essential for the role. With strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting standards, budgeting and forecasting methods, and laws and regulations , you will be able to ensure the charity has robust systems and processes in place. Ideally you will have at least ten years of progressive experience in financial management, including at Director/CFO level preferably in the non-profit sector. Knowledge of the Muslim charity sector and Zakat giving would be a distinctive advantage.

Prospectus is delighted to be working again with the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) in their search for a Project Administrator, who will support the Project Coordinator and project team to deliver the remainder of a substantial 12-month project.

This is a part-time (21-hours) role, offered on a 6-month FTC. Remote working is possible, with periodical travel to London. Candidates to start no later than early-October.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the Project Administrator will support the delivery of the Education Reform Project, ensuring engagement with all the key stakeholders, delivery of member surveys, meetings and focus groups, and support the delivery of the project outputs. The postholder will attend meetings, making notes of the discussion and compiling a summary. The new Project Administrator will send out communication updates each month, so these can be disseminated across the three professional bodies involved in the commission.

To be successful, you will have previous administration experience, or experience supporting the delivery of programmes and projects. You will have excellent attention to detail, with an ability to maintain accurate record keeping and experience of producing minutes or summaries of meetings. You will be an effective communicator, able to manage relationships with stakeholders including staff/volunteers. Finally, you will be comfortable with Microsoft 365 and Zoom.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A successful track record in trusts fundraising including developing multi-year proposals for 5 - 6 figure gifts, and ideally experience in successfully securing and manging national lottery grant awards.
• An up-to-date knowledge of the trust fundraising landscape and a working knowledge of research sources and methodologies.
• Experience in effectively stewarding funder relationships.
• Excellent writing skills for delivering inspiring proposals and reports to a deadline.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Key skills include:

· Demonstrates significant working knowledge/experience specialising in digital analysis and Insight

· Significant experience in producing analysis/reports with strong narratives from a variety of digital sources (including Google Analytics 4, email marketing, social insight, META and other tracking/performance monitoring tools) to inform and optimise marketing, fundraising and conversion rate strategies.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis to identify trends in data (e.g. descriptive and comparative statistics correlation, hypothesis testing, regression/data modelling), robust A/B testing, and project optimisation.

· Advanced understanding of tools and frameworks for monitoring the performance of digital marketing and products, including Google Analytics dashboards and custom reports.

· Advanced understanding of Google Analytics 4 (including funnel analysis, segmentation, and ecommerce tracking), Tag Manager, Hotjar (or equivalent), Content Square, Power BI, and Looker Studio.

· Ability to manage external suppliers that provide these tools and services.

· Able to interrogate relevant data sources to support the development of supporter journeys and identify problems/potential solutions to conversion, efficiencies, and user experience.

· Maintain and develop tracking requirements for website features and activities.

· Knowledge and application of tag management systems, including editing of tags.

· Experience developing and working on fundraising and campaigning KPIs and models.

What's on offer:

The Community Fundraiser role is one where you just don’t know what happens one week to the next as you never know who will choose to support Marie Curie in your community! 

The role would suit someone who can be flexible and react in a calm, measured manner to whatever the day brings, who is excited by potential and is ambitious, and who can deliver a high standard of customer service (supporter stewardship) to everyone they meet. 

Community Fundraisers are remote/hybrid based, with some presence expected at your local office or Hospice. It is expected that you will be based within or in close proximity to the region e.g. North London. For this role, the post holder will need to be willing to travel to Embassy Gardens (Embankment, SW11 7BW) occasionally. Due to the requirement to be London based, this post holder can choose if they opt to recieve an additional £3,500 LLW on top of the offered annual salary. If selected, the candidate will cover the cost of travel into Embassy Gardens themselves. 

This isn’t a role where you will be behind a desk every day, a good Community Fundraiser has a willingness to be out and about within your region meeting and supporting fundraisers.

The successful candidate will be joining a charity with a strong history and reputation for donor-centric (friends) fundraising, currently raising over £5m per year and a huge potential to unlock stewardship, potential and growth.

The Trust is seeking an inspiring and ambitious professional with a proven track record in senior-level fundraising and the skills, passion and experience to lead the Trust into a position which results in voluntary income moving from £5M to £10M through delivery of step change strategies for Voluntary Income Generation and Communication. Candidates must be collaborative leaders with proven experience of leading and managing multi-disciplinary fundraising teams and in transformation and change. They will also have experience in influencing policy and decision making (governance) at a range of levels, as will be a strong networker and public speaker used to driving networking opportunities that evidence outcomes and impact.
