About the role:

This role is based at Accrington. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a MARRAC Coordinator you will:

• Work with the MARRAC Team Leader and partner agencies to contribute/support the initial assessment process
• Check internal systems to check if victims are known or open to internal services
• Provide any updates; follow up calls including immediate safety & support needs for the victims
• Attend MARRAC meetings to present the voice of the victim
• Contribute towards interventions, helping to design a multi agency safety plan to protect victims
• Complete actions & signpost to other agencies /community groups
• Contribute to review discussions on closure to MARRAC
• Maintain accurate & confidential case management records

You will need:

• experience of working with high risk victims of domestic abuse & ideally hold an IDVA accreditation

The post of Group Work Facilitator will provide support to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence within group work provision.

At FearFree we run various trauma-informed groups for victims such as: Hope2Recovery, an educational domestic abuse online support group; Rediscovering You, a face-to-face emotional wellbeing recovery group; Inspiring Families, a ‘whole family’ approach to support; and a Living Skills group supporting those having to flee domestic abuse.

We are looking for experienced and motivated staff to join us to help deliver the group work programmes we run around locations in Wiltshire. Groups run in the morning, afternoon and evening. Training for the groups will be provided.

In addition to facilitating groups, staff will be asked to attend training events and meetings, including regular supervision.

This is a fixed term role until November 2025, with the potential to become permanent subject to funding.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To facilitate group work provisions across the Wiltshire Service.
• Completing pre and post group assessments and required paperwork, following the procedures in place.
• Write comprehensive case notes following groups about service user involvement, any concerns raised and any action required.
• Identify and take the appropriate action on any disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised within the group.
• To work cohesively with a second facilitator both virtually and in person in locations around Wiltshire.
• A willingness and ability to travel around Wiltshire and access to a vehicle with business insurance.

Skills and Qualities 

• Experience of working with victims of domestic abuse or sexual violence or the willingness to increase knowledge and skills in this area.
• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience running groups, including listening skills, a good sense of timing, sensitivity to overall group dynamics, maintaining group safety and practical elements such as ensuring course material is delivered.
• A willingness to participate in in-house training, including group observation.

Wellbeing Coach

Hours: 17.5 – 21 hours per week (part-time)

Location: Office base is Chorley. Delivery of sessions will be from home or in the community. Travel to office and venues around Lancashire for meetings, occasional national travel for network meetings

The Role:
We’re looking for a bold and caring professional to join us as a Wellbeing Coach. If you have experience of supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing, this could be the job for you!
 
You will deliver predominantly one to one wellbeing coaching with some group support to both adults and young people. Ideally you will have some experience of using coaching and CBT techniques such as guided self-help, psychoeducation and thought challenging.
 
You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working in partnership with other stakeholders to deliver projects. To excel in the role, you will be able to motivate, inspire and engage a wide range of people and be proactive in your approach. You will be calm, proactive and resilient.

Housing Plus Ltd based in Brent, London NW2 & NW10, 

We are currently recruiting support workers who will be able to work on a shift pattern that will include a rolling rota with a combination of days, evenings, sleep in nights and weekends including public holidays. The role can be part time or full time. Support Workers will have to be flexible re shifts. We know that some great people are available who may only be available for certain shifts eg nights or weekends. If that is you please apply and clearly specify your preferred availability.

Our supported accommodation is for young people aged 16-19 who are primarily refugees and asylum seekers and in the care of the local authority.

Day shift is 9am-5.30pm. Evening/Waking hours 5pm-11pm and 8-9am. This will be paid at the hourly rate of £11.95. The sleeping-in shift 11pm- 8am, payment is a flat rate £46.00 per night.

We are currently recruiting support workers who will work on a rota in our supported accommodation for young people aged 16-19 who are primarily refugees and asylum seekers and in the care of the local authority. These young people are preparing to live independently and we offer practical and emotional support to them.

The role requires you to record support to prepare reports, for the commissioning authority using IT as required. Familiarity with Googles docs and sheets is required.

The role of the support worker is to help young people to develop their independent living skills. This can involve being out and about with the young people – going shopping, attending interviews and appointments, support to attend college, helping them to know the area and its resources and, in the home, helping them to cook, clean and develop self-care skills. The evening / night shift is focussed more on tasks that can be completed in the placements or in groups such as cooking, cleaning, support with homework, film nights, recreational activities. Some creativity is encouraged to engage and inspire the young people.

 Alongside this you will have some responsibility for light household tasks to keep the house tidy and organised as well as undertaking health and safety checks. The time in the morning will be spent ensuring that the young people who need to be up and out are ready to attend college.

Some experience of working with young people, night working and lone working will be a big advantage.
