ABOUT US: The Counselling Partnership is an independent, local community charity.  We are committed to improving mental well-being by providing professional, affordable one-to-one counselling to adults facing a variety of difficulties.  These include depression, bereavement, anger, stress, anxiety, abuse, loss, phobias, post-traumatic stress, relationship, self-esteem, trauma and work or career-related issues. 

The Charity has a double purpose.  Addressing the psychological needs of our local community through appropriate counselling interventions is our first objective, but we do this by offering counsellors in training appropriate clinical experience, thereby helping to grow the counselling resources available to the wider community.

We have two outreach counselling rooms in Walton on Thames and Woking and provide on-line counselling to clients throughout Surrey.

The service provides individual therapy to people who have mild to moderate psychological issues, and we are able to offer counselling for up to a year, for clients who require longer term intervention to address presenting issues.

What we’re looking for

An experienced Legacy and In Memory fundraising or marketing professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing campaigns aimed at creating legacy awareness, securing legacy pledges and increasing in memory donations for the Macular Society.

You’ll be familiar with and comfortable analysing data and insights that inform decision making and approaches towards legacy and in memory marketing, ensuring these activities are well targeted and effective, using a range of channels.

Once secured, you’ll also be passionate about providing the best possible supporter care and experience, bringing people closer to the cause and encouraging ongoing support.

Leading a team of two experienced Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Officers, you’ll support this talent by providing opportunities for learning and development and will embed a positive culture of high support and challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

•  You’ll manage the ongoing relationships with grant giving trusts and foundations funders, ensuring they receive excellent stewardship, timely reporting and doing all you can maximising potential for further funding.
•  You’ll also work collaboratively with other local Trussell Trust food banks and identify, propose and progress opportunities for joint funding applications.
•  You’ll help secure funding from local businesses by responding to enquiries with proposals for how those local businesses can best support Kensington & Chelsea Food Bank.
• You will develop, monitor and manage a trusts fundraising portfolio capable of generating in excess per annum. You’ll establish a trusts fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
• You’ll forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. You’ll proactively take advantage of any fundraising training and skills development opportunities and engage with any joint fundraising opportunities.
• Oversee and assist as needed the Foodbank Project Manager and Volunteer Manager to:

1.  Maintain relationships with key local stakeholders and identify fundraising opportunities and helping with other community relationships as needed.
2. Further develop and maintain relationships with referral agencies.

• Generate content to promote the work of the food bank, encourage donations through social media, regular foodbank newsletters and contact with corporate Volunteers.  

Skills

As Business Administration & Finance Officer (BAFO) you will be responsible for the smooth running of the administration of the charity. Working closely with the finance team, HR team, regional managers and the senior management team and the post holder will have communication with all members of Envision employees. The aim of the role is to standardise our back-office processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency including Finance, HR & IT as well as event and travel management.

Role Description

This role will contribute to A4ID’s mission of promoting the UN SDGs, the power of pro bono, and strengthening the rule of law by focusing on climate change and environmental conservation.

The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a project focused on combatting the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) in the Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) region in Southern Africa. This will include convening partnership stakeholders for project planning and development, devising and implementing activity plans, sourcing experts and developing monitoring and evaluation. This role contributes to building the capacity of legal actors on needed legal support and expertise to tackle issues such as illegal wildlife trade in Southern Africa, as well as climate mitigation and adaptation around the world, particularly in low to middle-income countries. The Project Manager will also have opportunities to engage in coordination and learning activities, representing the KAZA project as part of A4ID’s broader portfolio.

You will lead on and advance A4ID’s climate-related and environmental projects, including related business development and developing and supporting new service offerings and products. The role will also support A4ID teams in relation to climate and environmental projects (including strategic pro bono projects) and will contribute to thought leadership, enhancing knowledge generation, and communications.

Working within the Engagement & Communications team, you will contribute to the success of fundraising at Cruelty Free International and its affiliated group of companies’. Using your knowledge and expertise, you will work to increase our individual giving income by being responsible for in-house fulfilment and response handling for our direct mail appeals. 

This is an exciting new role, contributing to the development and implementation of our new income generation strategy.
