About the role
Our services strategy is aimed at delivering high impact, sustainable services that are centred on the needs of people seeking asylum and refugees in the UK, and improving the system of support that they rely on for their safety and future lives in local communities. We seek to significantly improve early access to information, advice and support for people seeking asylum and refugees in crisis and those seeking to integrate into the UK.
In December 2023, with consultancy support, we designed an exciting youth service strategy with a delivery model centred around children’s needs and with the vision for change on how separated children and young people are treated in their asylum journey by creating holistic casework, high quality joined up relationships across the organisation, collaboration with local partners and supporters through learning and sharing best practice to transform their experience and bring systemic change.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Casework management
- Oversee the casework service delivery by managing a potential high number of referrals colleagues in the regions and professionals effectively, by deciding eligibility for services, and providing timely, helpful, and legally accurate responses at all times.
- Line manage all casework advisers by supporting and enabling them to provide high quality information and advice support, and signposting to external specialist agencies in a sensitive, confidential and professional manner.
Service development and delivery
- Maintain high quality, current client records in accordance with organisational policies, funder requirements, and relevant legislation, and support advisers and volunteers to manage their data within the client database.
- Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with a range of practitioners including local authority social workers, managers, legal representatives, health and education professionals and voluntary sector agencies, referring children who are age disputed to other agencies where it is in the best interests of the child.

About the role
Our dedicated team moderates our full-service accounts (all organic content and paid ads) as well as one-off campaigns and appeals for some of the most recognisable charities in the sector.
This role is perfect for skilled comms experts who can provide excellent supporter care and is best suited as an additional source of income (the majority of our team are freelancers and consultants). You must be able to begin moderation at 9 am (or earlier), wrap up by 9 pm and adhere to our sub-three-hour response time.
Our moderators must have a minimum of three years’ in-house, third-sector comms experience.
As a Social Media Moderator, you would be responsible for:

Becoming the voice of the cause you are representing, adhering to their brand guidelines and tone of voice at all times

Our moderation takes place between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday-Sunday.
Different accounts will require varying levels of ‘active’ hours (defined as time spent taking action). You will split your active hours between 9am and 9pm. For example, for an account which requires three active hours, you might carry out your work in six, thirty minute instalments throughout the shift.
As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.
Whilst you need to be on hand to monitor your accounts during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' professional comms experience, working with a large charity with an active social media following. They will understand the importance of building positive engagement and relationships with the public and be committed to act in the best interests of our charity partners.

We are looking for a new member of the digital communications team to lead on managing the Academy’s social media channels and setting the standard for digital multimedia content across the Academy for up to 10 months.
The role
This is a key role in the digital communications team, with oversight of the Academy’s externally facing social media channels. As you further develop these channels and lead on the delivery of content through them, you will play an important part in positioning the Academy as a thought leader and engaging new and existing audiences with our work.

This role will focus on securing investment through natural capital markets, including biodiversity net gain, as well as the RSPB’s wider corporate partnership offering. You will be working closely with colleagues in Conversation Investment, Business Conservation Advice, and the wider Business Engagement function to deliver high-value partnerships which will have a significant impact in the fight against the dual nature and climate crisis.
What we need from you
- The post-holder will be someone who thrives in relationship management and successfully securing new partnerships.
- The successful candidate will have significant B2B new business experience and a proven track record of securing complex corporate partnerships with strategic communications packages and financial values of £1m+.
Essentials:
- Experience in securing high-value, multi-dimensional partnerships in the private or third sector.
- Able to take a leading role in the partnership development strategy, generating ideas, bringing external insight, and delivering on agreed areas of work.
- Experience in developing and implementing ambitious sector strategies and producing tailored new partnership propositions that meet corporate and RSPB objectives.

We have an opportunity for a Digital Officer to support the day-to-day running of the College website. You will work closely with staff, members and volunteers to produce, manage and improve content for the website. As part of a small and busy team, this role would suit someone who enjoys collaboration and working with a range of stakeholders.
We are going through an exciting period of digital transformation and this role will work on a variety of digital projects to support this area of work. The role will also provide support on a project to move our website onto a new content management system (CMS.)

This role requires you to be in their central London office 5 days per week for the first 3 months and 3 days in the office per week thereafter.
The Finance Assistant is responsible for smoothly running all transactional processes for grants, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The post holder will also lead on any applicable system enhancements thus offering a critical and wide-ranging systems support role for the charity. They will assist in the preparation of audit data as well as supporting project reporting to aid in the preparation of the annual statutory audit.

BMS is a Christian mission organisation founded in 1792, today we are working in around 30 countries over four continents. We are passionate about making Jesus known across the world and transforming the lives of those we serve.
So, we're going to experiment. Definitely for nine months. Who knows, maybe it will work out longer but nine months seems like a good amount of time to grow a social media and email strategy from conception to being out in the wild.
We know enough to know what we don't know (and we've commissioned a detailed social media and email audit report to tell us the rest) and we dream plenty big enough to know there's so much more we could do. We just need to find the right person to be our experimenter-in-chief. Could it be you?

The Young Greenwich LGBTQ+ Youth Lead will lead the delivery of our youth work in Greenwich, including two weekly youth groups for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) young people. These groups are Zest, for 13-15s and Shine, for 16-19s (up to 25 with SEND).
The post-holder will take charge of promotion, assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation for these groups.
METRO Youth groups are youth-led, and the role will involve facilitating young people’s design of their own programme of activities and empowering them to take ownership of the space. The role includes outreach for service promotion in schools and youth hubs, and partnership-building to increase referrals and offer opportunities to METRO young people.
