Alford House

Who we are

Alford House is a youth club in Lambeth with a history stretching back to 1884. We provide a safe, welcoming and trusted place where young people can be themselves, build relationships, develop confidence and discover their potential.

We see Alford House as a Third Space — somewhere distinct from home and school where young people actively choose to belong. Our approach is relational and youth-led: young people are known, valued and supported over time, and are encouraged to help shape the space they belong to.

Our work is guided by a simple idea: All for us. Everyone has a part to play in creating a positive, inclusive community.
