About us
Who we are
Our crew provide emergency medical care for over two million people across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Our service is operational 365 days a year, 19 hours a day. On average three people a day will find themselves in a life-threatening situation, needing help from our crew on either our helicopter or Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV).
All of this is funded 100% through charitable donations – we receive no Government funding and are not supported by the National Lottery. We rely on generous support from the public to keep delivering the advanced life-saving service.
Working within the charity team, namely the communications team you will experience a diverse range of comms, from liaising with former patients and crew, to media launches of all scales, to working with our vibrant and enthusiastic fundraising team. No two days are the same. We are a fun, but ambitous, determind bunch and above all else we are very passionate about the service we provide.
