About us

Who we are

We are striving for a world without tinnitus. For every seven adults in the UK, one will have tinnitus. That's why we:

  • Provide free support to anyone with tinnitus or caring for someone with tinnitus.
  • Work with healthcare professionals to ensure you receive the right information to manage your tinnitus.
  • Are connecting the research community to people living with tinnitus to ensure those searching for new treatments and a cure understand the impact of tinnitus on everyday lives.

Our culture and values

At Tinnitus UK we have four core values. These values are the beliefs that we as an organisation stand for and they guide everything we do – right through our staff team, our volunteers and trustees.

  • Respect – We respect and value every individual, from our employees to our service users, and communities we serve.
  • Integrity – We prioritise transparency, accountability and ethical practices in every aspect of our work, building trust both within our team, with people we work alongside and with the people we serve.
  • Support – Support is at the core of everything we do both for our service users and within our team, including our volunteers.
  • Evolve – We are committed to evolution; continuous learning and growth, individually and about the impact we have on the world.
