Who we are
The vision of West Silvertown Foundation is of a vibrant, integrated community where ambitions are realised and friendships thrive. We want to enable our diverse community to connect and thrive, through a range of shared experiences, projects and activities.
We manage Britannia Village Hall and Royal Wharf Community Dock, the only community centres in West Silvertown, providing activities for children and families, youth and community groups. Our range of activities include delivery of a youth club, summer play scheme, regular parent and toddler activities, a community breakfast which includes a job support element, exercise classes and adult social groups. We also facilitate community use by other groups, including leasing areas of the Village Hall, enabling the provision of a GP practice, a nursery and an after school club.
We work in close partnership with other local stakeholders, including schools, management authorities and developers. We truly believe that through this approach we can see our vision realised, and build a real sense of community for the benefit of all
