This is an exciting opportunity within our newly established advocacy function to support the delivery of Working Animals International’s global advocacy strategy as part of a small, dedicated team.

Working closely with our Head of Advocacy, the Advocacy Officer will help shape and implement inclusive, evidence-based policy and advocacy initiatives that advance the welfare of working animals. The postholder will support engagement with governments, international institutions, our global partner network and wider stakeholders to drive systemic change.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week) permanent role. This is a UK based role, with regular attendance (1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join our client services team within our assistance dog training department.

Previous experience of training dogs, using positive based methods, and a full clean driving licence are essential criteria for the post.

Desirable qualities are experience in teaching or recognised teaching qualification, awareness in varying disabilities and a recognised qualification in animal training/behaviour.
 
The role will consist of the assessing individuals and families as they apply to our charity’s assistance dog programmes for those affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability.

You will also be required to provide training, support and guidance to individuals and families who have successfully graduated through our assistance dog programme. This includes ensuring they receive annual assessments and giving appropriate advice/ support and extra training as required throughout the dogs working lives. What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dog Training Manager in and around the South West of England.

The role of the Dog Training Manager is to support the development and training of Hearing Dog puppies to become future life changers.

From 8 weeks of age, puppies enter their training journey to be nurtured and cared for by their volunteer puppy trainer. The Training Manager supports the work of the team responsible for the training of these dogs, ensuring the best possible standards are achieved with each and every dog.

Training Managers form a vital part of the Services department, they provide leadership for the regional teams and are responsible for the quality standards, productivity and efficiency of the dog training pipeline.

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour, with skills in teaching, mentoring and coaching people.

The ability to develop and train dogs using the skills of our volunteers is essential so we are looking for someone who finds value in working with both people and dogs and is driven by the overall goal to help train more dogs for deaf people.

You will need resilience and a high degree of efficiency to be a successful Dog Training Manager and hold a full clean UK driving licence.

About this role

The Individual Giving Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering our individual giving programmes. They will work closely with our Head of Individual Giving to shape strategic plans across UK and international markets, driving income growth and expanding our global impact. 

The Individual Giving manager will manage the development and delivery of our regular giving programme in the UK and globally, using market and audience insight and learnings to ensure optimal performance across the programme. 

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week) permanent role. This is a UK based role, with regular attendance (1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK. The salary for this role is c.£42k per annum, subject to skills and experience. Working Animals International offers a generous company pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution if the employee contributes a minimum 5%, and healthcare cashplan with Medicash alongside other benefits.

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Legacy Administration Coordinator, to join WWF-UK's Legacy Management team and help ensure that gifts left for WWF-UK in wills are administered with care, professionalism and attention to detail.

Legacies play a vital role in supporting WWF-UK's work, representing around a quarter of WWF-UK's income and helping to fund long-term action for nature and climate.

As Legacy Administration Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the administration of legacy gifts, working with solicitors, executors, supporters and colleagues to ensure cases are managed accurately, sensitively and efficiently.

This is a varied role combining administration, relationship management and financial processes. You'll help maintain accurate records, support legacy case administration and act as an important point of contact for a wide range of enquiries. Along the way, you'll build relationships with legal professionals, supporters and colleagues across WWF-UK while helping to ensure that every gift is managed in line with both the wishes of the supporter and WWF-UK's responsibilities as a charity.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the skills and experience needed to succeed in this role, including:

Essential

· Experience working in an administrative, legal, charity or financial environment

· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities accurately and efficiently

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of record keeping and administration

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people

· Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally in situations that may involve bereavement or other personal circumstances

· Good financial literacy and confidence working with financial information and records

· Experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications

· Ability to work independently, use initiative and make sound day-to-day decisions

· Strong time management and prioritisation skills

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and good judgement

· Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of and in support of a team

Desirable

· Experience working within legacy administration, probate, wills or estate administration

· Knowledge of probate processes and the administration of estates

· Experience working within a charity environment

· Experience working with solicitors, executors or legal professionals

· Experience using legacy or fundraising databases, ideally FirstClass4

· Understanding of legacy fundraising and supporter stewardship
