We’re looking for two new High Value Events Manager’s to lead the operational oversight of this programme and ensure our events create meaningful, high-impact experiences that support our wider fundraising goals. 

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives. 
• lead the delivery of selected large, complex events and line manage a High Value Events Officer, providing operational oversight and support to ensure effective delivery of a shared events portfolio that supports the wider event programme. 
• lead on the development of event concepts, audiences, messaging and calls to action, ensuring events are purposeful, impactful and the best use of team resource. 
• work closely with colleagues across Philanthropy, Corporate and Trusts to ensure that the events programme supports integrated cultivation and stewardship activity. 
• alongside the Deputy Head of High Value Fundraising Operations (Events), contribute to the development and delivery of a long-term strategy for high value events that supports sustainable income growth and supporter engagement.

We’re looking for a Legacy Campaign Manager, who will be responsible for delivering multiple legacy products, with a particular focus on delivering a first-class stewardship programme to our loyal supporters. 

What does this role involve?
As Legacy Campaign Manager, you will:

• work closely with external agencies to deliver key legacy products, including gifts in wills, In Memoriam gifts and our Canine Care Card,
• collaborate with other teams in the Individual Giving directorate to deliver an excellent supporter journey to all those who donate, from handling individual responses to delivering stewardship events,
• creatively bring our brand message to life, helping supporters understand the impact of their loyalty,

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative and experienced Head of income and partnerships to drive forward and deliver our plans for income growth and diversification in line with our 5-year organisational strategy.

This is a new, pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation. Strategy and leadership

• Play a key role in developing and refining our income strategy to meet our organisational strategy and priorities

Essential

• Substantial experience leading income‑generation activity, including developing strategies, building pipelines and securing income across multiple streams

We are seeking a Supporter Services Administrator to join World Horse Welfare's Fundraising Supporter Services team based at our Head Office in Snetterton, Norfolk on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

We are delivering an ambitious fundraising strategy to grow and optimise voluntary net income, public support and awareness of our charity. A brand-new weekly lottery is at the heart of these plans, and we are looking for a Lottery & Raffle Campaign Manager to help us launch it — and shape the future of fundraising at Woodgreen.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a charitable lottery from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our External Lottery Manager (ELM) and lead Woodgreen through to our first weekly draw. Alongside the lottery, you’ll take ownership of our raffle programme — which has just gone through a successful transformation and continues to grow — and bring the two products together into one thriving gaming programme.

You will:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of our Weekly Lottery, from setup and compliance through to launch and beyond.
• Manage Woodgreen’s relationship with the External Lottery Manager, ensuring the programme runs compliantly and effectively.
• Take day-to-day ownership of the raffle programme, building on its recent transformation and growing it as part of an integrated gaming offer.
• Project manage direct marketing campaigns across direct mail and digital, from briefing through to evaluation, using data and insight to optimise performance.
• Partner with our Acquisition team on player recruitment across Face-to-Face, paid media and other channels.
• Ensure full compliance with Gambling Commission regulations, the Gambling Act 2005, LCCP obligations and Fundraising Codes of Practice.
• Support budget setting, monitoring and evaluation, interrogating results to inform future campaigns.

Bringing significant experience of managing a charity lottery or raffle programme, alongside substantial experience of developing and delivering direct marketing campaigns you will have strong project and budget management skills, and a detailed working knowledge — or a real appetite to build one — of large society lottery compliance, including responsible gambling and marketing rules.

Above all, you will be genuinely analytical, comfortable working with data, confident interrogating campaign results, and skilled at spotting the patterns that drive better decisions. You will use insight to challenge assumptions — including your own — and to keep raising the bar on what your campaigns deliver.  Organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, you will be a confident communicator at ease briefing agencies and working across teams, someone who cares about doing things properly: brand, compliance and supporter experience all matter equally.

This full time, permanent opportunity will operate in a hybrid working environment and although much of it can be done remotely our successful candidate must be able to attend our offices near Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire (PE29 2NH) for an average of 1-2 times per month dependent on business need.

The starting salary for this position is £36,665 - £44,812 per annum depending on experience.  This is complemented by;

Responsibilities

Be responsible for all aspects of the Charity - dogs, people, facilities ,compliance and finances

Manage the charity and the skilled staff within it

Optimise the rescue of dogs and maintain the high quality of care currently in place

Drive the marketing, brand awareness and fundraising of the charity

Actively promote high standards of care with the staff and volunteers

Support and co-ordinate the volunteers, foster carers and members

 

About the team

We have an experienced team of 13 staff in place across the Charity. They are passionate about caring for the dogs and finding suitable loving homes for them in the next stage of their lives.

What we’re looking for

Essential

· A self starter with a  passion for improving the lives of the dogs in our care

· Proven senior leadership experience in a charity, animal welfare, or similar organisation.

· Strong understanding of animal welfare principles and UK legislation affecting rehoming charities.

· Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, team leadership, and financial oversight.

· Successful track record in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building.

· Excellent communication, people management, empathy, and decision-making skills.

· Good listening skills and openness to staff proposals, suggestions. Utilisation of existing staff experience and qualifications

· Experience working directly in rescue, veterinary, or kennels environments.

· Knowledge of health and Safety and employment law

 

Desirable

· Knowledge of marketing, PR, and community engagement strategies.

· Qualification in charity management, business administration, or animal welfare.
