Are you a programme manager who has experience of working on complex IT projects?
We’re looking for a Programme Manager to apply project management methodologies to our Dogs Trust Ireland transformation programme, which will involve migrating a legacy customer relationship management (CRM) system to Salesforce.

What does this role do?
As IT Programme Manager (Dogs Trust Ireland CRM Delivery), you will:

• apply standardised project management lifecycles, methodologies and governance to all activity in the Dogs Trust Ireland transformation programme, ensuring all work is aligned with wider programme objectives,
• work with key stakeholders to define and document the project scope, objectives and outcomes, and then deliver organisational change and embed new ways of working,
• work closely with the CRM implementation partner, Product Owner and Dogs Trust UK technical teams to shape the solution, coordinate and manage delivery, ensuring agreed objectives and timelines are met,
• manage and track dependencies throughout, and work with the Portfolio team to provide delivery assurance.

While this role will be based at our London office with hybrid working, the post holder will be expected to travel regularly to Dogs Trust Ireland offices in Dublin. This role is a fixed term contract until December 2027.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join our client services team within our assistance dog training department.

Previous experience of training dogs, using positive based methods, and a full clean driving licence are essential criteria for the post.

Desirable qualities are experience in teaching or recognised teaching qualification, awareness in varying disabilities and a recognised qualification in animal training/behaviour.
 
The role will consist of the assessing individuals and families as they apply to our charity’s assistance dog programmes for those affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability.

You will also be required to provide training, support and guidance to individuals and families who have successfully graduated through our assistance dog programme. This includes ensuring they receive annual assessments and giving appropriate advice/ support and extra training as required throughout the dogs working lives. You will also support the preparation as older working dogs move towards retirement and the process to supply potential replacement dogs for those individuals.

Based at our national centre in Sheffield, the applicant will be required to lone work off site for periods of time, so must show the ability to work alone effectively, prioritise their workload, accordingly, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communicational skills.They are to demonstrate a real passion for the role, a positive attitude and show flexibility within their work.

We’re looking for two new High Value Events Manager’s to lead the operational oversight of this programme and ensure our events create meaningful, high-impact experiences that support our wider fundraising goals. 

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives. 
• lead the delivery of selected large, complex events and line manage a High Value Events Officer, providing operational oversight and support to ensure effective delivery of a shared events portfolio that supports the wider event programme. 
• lead on the development of event concepts, audiences, messaging and calls to action, ensuring events are purposeful, impactful and the best use of team resource. 
• work closely with colleagues across Philanthropy, Corporate and Trusts to ensure that the events programme supports integrated cultivation and stewardship activity.

Job purpose

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative and experienced Head of income and partnerships to drive forward and deliver our plans for income growth and diversification in line with our 5-year organisational strategy.

This is a new, pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio, ensuring we can continue to grow our impact in advancing the quality of veterinary care for the benefit of animals, the public and society.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with your senior team colleagues, you will develop and implement our income generation strategy, unlocking opportunities across industry partnerships, trust and foundations and individual giving.

We’re looking for someone who is both strategically minded and comfortable with hands-on delivery, and who will take a proactive approach to building our income-generating capacity from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and leadership

• Play a key role in developing and refining our income strategy to meet our organisational strategy and priorities
• Take a leadership role in income generation, collaborating with colleagues to identify and take forward opportunities for income generation and partnerships
• Advise the CEO and senior team on growth opportunities and strategic partnerships while providing coaching, guidance and support to the team on best practice in developing successful partnerships to generate income
• Encourage cross-team collaboration on income opportunities
• Work with the CEO and the rest of the senior team to set the annual business plan and budget, and monitor delivery and performance

Delivery

• Build, manage and deliver a pipeline of opportunities across multiple income streams, with a primary focus on industry partnerships, trusts and foundations, and the development of individual giving.

• Develop and secure high-value partnerships with carefully selected industry partners in line with our partnerships policy. Oversee stewardship of partners to develop successful strategic relationships in both the short and long term

• Work with senior team colleagues, clinical leads and other team members to develop compelling, outcome-driven cases for support
• Explore and support potential opportunities for income generation in other areas such as public sector and earned income.

Performance and compliance

• Monitor and report on progress towards KPIs and income targets
• Create and enhance systems, processes and tools to develop the charity’s income-generation capability
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice
• Work with finance colleagues on forecasting, reporting and income tracking.

Person specification

Essential

• Substantial experience leading income‑generation activity, including developing strategies, building pipelines and securing income across multiple streams
• Strong track record of developing and stewarding high‑value partnerships that deliver income and impact
• Experience personally leading successful bids, proposals and pitches
• Confidence operating both strategically and hands‑on within a small or medium-sized organisation
• Strong senior‑level stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to translate organisational strengths into compelling cases for support
• Solid financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting and income tracking
• Clear understanding of best practice, governance and ethical considerations in income generation

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a motivated and organised Grants Officer to help secure vital funding for nature's recovery across Yorkshire. Working closely with the Grants Manager and colleagues across the Trust, you will research funding opportunities, develop compelling grant applications and manage relationships with trusts, foundations and other grant-making organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a direct role in supporting conservation, community engagement and wildlife recovery projects across the region.

You will manage a portfolio of grant applications and reports, identifying and developing new funding opportunities while maintaining excellent relationships with existing funders. Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, you will gather project information, develop persuasive funding proposals, coordinate reporting and stewardship activities, and maintain accurate records of fundraising activity. You will contribute to achieving fundraising targets and help ensure funding opportunities align with the Trust's strategic priorities.

We are looking for someone with excellent written communication skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear, compelling and engaging way. You will have experience of researching, writing or supporting funding applications, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience of fundraising, grant-making trusts and foundations, project development, CRM databases or the environmental, charitable or conservation sector would be advantageous. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dog Training Manager in and around the South West of England.

The role of the Dog Training Manager is to support the development and training of Hearing Dog puppies to become future life changers.

From 8 weeks of age, puppies enter their training journey to be nurtured and cared for by their volunteer puppy trainer. The Training Manager supports the work of the team responsible for the training of these dogs, ensuring the best possible standards are achieved with each and every dog.

Training Managers form a vital part of the Services department, they provide leadership for the regional teams and are responsible for the quality standards, productivity and efficiency of the dog training pipeline.

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour, with skills in teaching, mentoring and coaching people.

The ability to develop and train dogs using the skills of our volunteers is essential so we are looking for someone who finds value in working with both people and dogs and is driven by the overall goal to help train more dogs for deaf people.

Woodgreen is looking to appoint a full time Supporter Relations Executive on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.  In this role you will help to grow the engagement, loyalty and value to Woodgreen by ensuring that our supporters always feel valued and know the difference they are making to pets and people across the UK.  Working as part of a small but busy team you will be the first point of contact for the charity through the management of the supporter email inboxes, donation phone lines and post.  Our successful candidate will also look after the administration and processing of donations and will be responsible for maintaining accurate database records and providing personalised communications.

In addition you will;

• Maintain the fundraising database, and other CRM platforms, so that all supporter details are complete, accurate and up to date in order to comply with GDPR regulations.
• Administer the Gift Aid Programme ensuring Gift Aid declarations are accurately recorded and scanned to maximise Gift Aid income and compliance with HMRC rules and regulations.
• Work collaboratively and positively across the charity, building close working relationships with colleagues to ensure knowledge and key information is shared and obtained so all enquiries received can be answered with accuracy, confidence and professionalism.
• Be responsible for processing and fulfilling supporter requests for fundraising materials such as, Money Boxes and Fundraising Packs so supporters receive the information requested in a timely manner in line with service level agreements.

To be considered you will need to have;

• Significant administration and data entry experience.
• Significant customer service experience in a multi-channel environment.
• Significant working experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database.
• Demonstrable experience of effective communication at all levels across an organisation.
• Detailed understanding of Data Protection principles and legislation.
• The ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage your workload to meet deadlines.
• The confidence to use your own initiative when dealing with customer enquiries or complaints.

This is a full time hybrid position working 37.5 hours per week.  It is expected that the successful candidate will spend approximately two to three days per week at our Godmanchester site.

The starting salary for this position is £27,300 - £29,426 per annum depending on experience. This is complemented by;

About the Role

As Major Gifts Officer, you will support delivery of agreed activity within the Major Gifts Team, successfully cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of mid-value individuals and trusts and delivering a range of agreed projects.
