As the Individual Giving Manager - Supporter Retention & Development, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of multi-channel (online and offline) activity and campaigns for Supporter Retention & Development including conversion, upgrade, reactivation, cross-selling, cash appeals & in memory income. You will lead on building the Supporter Retention & Development programme, focusing on growing income, the supporter base and improved engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Proven experience of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter retention & development programmes
• Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies, turning analysis and insight into high performance actions
• Strong project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns
• Experience of Individual Giving retention and acquisition programmes
• Experience of line management

Harris Hill has an opening for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join a health related charity for 3 months, but potentially longer to cover recruitment period.

Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. This will focus on the retention side. They will be recruiting permanently but need someone quite experienced to get the ball rolling on an interim basis.

As an IG Manager, you will be required to hit the ground running but also be quite hands on, ready to roll your sleeves up when needed. The role is hybrid based with one day per week in the office. They have two offices. One in central and the other in south London which could work well for someone commuting in from the Surrey and the south.

The client is willing to offer a daily rate on a PAYE basis of £164-200 per day, plus holiday pay, which would be payrolled via the agency. You could choose an umbrella company if you wish.

As Trusts Fundraising Manager, you will manage the delivery of the trusts fundraising strategy, including work to identify and research potential new sources of trusts funding. You will develop and manage the delivery of an annual work plan and pipeline for the trusts fundraising programme, including time-sensitive trust applications, to grow income. You will research and make approaches, pitches, submissions and applications to charitable trusts and foundations (both in the UK and overseas territories). To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience of working in a fundraising management role or equivalent, with a track record of developing and maintaining relationships with partners and/or potential supporters that ultimately generate income.
• Experience of managing a trusts fundraising programme, and developing a trusts pipeline or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the current trusts fundraising market, including potential supporters.
• Proven ability in developing and producing effective, cohesive, motivating and inspiring proposals, approaches, presentations and funding reports.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a medical charity in their search for the Senior Event Manager.  Senior Events Manage will be responsible for organising the full calendar of fundraising events, including sporting/challenge, bespoke, special and community events. 

As a Senior Events Manager you will:

• Line manage the Community and Events Executive
• Engage with local and large businesses and corporate bodies to actively engage them with challenge and community events
• Organise and secure sponsorship for special events such as the annual Gala Dinner, Supporters Thank You Evening, Christmas Carol Concert
• Work alongside the Communications Team as well as manage relationships with external designers, printers etc to create and produce a range of publicity materials
• Oversee the maintenance of contact with challenge participants in the lead-up to each event, providing fundraising advice and training support, as well as pre-event motivational activities/meetings. 

In order to be successful, you must have :

• Significant experience in Fundraising Events
• Line management experience
• Demonstrable experience leading Community, Challenge and Special events
• Strong organisational and time-keeping skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting event participants
• Confident in talking to groups and attending events, speaking about the charity

Salary: £38,000-£43,000 per annum depending on experience

Contract type: Permanent, full time or part-time  

Location: London, hybrid working
