About the role
The Trusts & Foundations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable income growth for Emmaus UK through strategic relationship management, compelling funding proposals and the development of a strong pipeline of new and existing Trusts & Foundations supporters.
Working collaboratively across Emmaus UK and our wider federation, the post holder will identify funding priorities, develop fundable projects and deliver excellent stewardship and reporting to secure long-term support for the organisation’s mission and strategic objectives.

We are seeking a proactive, relationship focused fundraiser who can bring the incredible impact of Emmaus to life in person and through powerful prose.
We are searching for creative candidates who will passionately convey the deep impact and the unique approach that Emmaus takes whilst articulating the stark reality and challenges of those who are faced with homelessness.
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on detail but also be energised at the prospect of engaging with funders directly as they build strong, meaningful and lasting relationships, both with our existing portfolio of grant funders in addition to new prospects.
What we offer
· Salary: £39,924 (Cost of living increase from July expected to increase to circa £41k)

The role of Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will lead the Events and Partnerships Teams to deliver their strategy and plans. Working with the Head of Public Fundraising the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will carry out a programme of continuous improvement to shape our programme of events for supporters, the local community, our children, young people and their families and retain and grow our partnerships and community fundraising programmes. Income generation and strategy
- Lead the implementation and delivery of the strategy for the Events and Partnerships teams and work with the Head of Public Fundraising and the teams to develop and review strategies to maximise income from events and partnerships
- Utilise audience insight to develop a broad and innovative range of income generating products to engage new and steward existing partners (including community supporters, businesses, groups and schools)
- Lead the Events team to review and overhaul our current events programme so that we are maximising net income and ROI as well as meeting the needs of our supporters and local community, and building connections and long-term relationships with our events supporters
- Manage partnership pipeline including building opportunities with new businesses to increase the range, value and number of partnerships for The Children’s Trust
- Work with the Partnerships team to implement processes that streamline and integrate relationship management across the team
- Lead the team to maximise growth and opportunities from businesses, community supporters, groups and schools through supporter journeys, stewardship, and cross-sell
- Work across the Retail, Fundraising and Communications directorate to maximise opportunities for contact mapping, cross-sell and support the activity of other teams within the directorate (including but not limited to stock donations, sponsorship of committee-led events, pro bono support, gifts in kind etc.)
Events and relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing corporate partners, groups, supporters, senior volunteers and committees
- Work with the Events and Partnerships Managers to create account plans for corporate partners, groups and schools, as well as supporter journeys for community supporters and participants in our events programme
- Work with Events and Partnerships team to ensure that we are maximising opportunities within our relationships, achieving long-term growth and retention of all supporters and working with teams across the directorate to cross-sell other appropriate opportunities for support
- Develop relationships with colleagues across the Public Fundraising Team, wider directorate and organisation to ensure that opportunities for engagement, integration and promotion of events and partnerships are maximised and publicised
- Bring the Events and Partnerships teams together to ensure that we are seizing opportunities to integrate the programmes, for instance through corporate sponsorships of events, employee volunteering or participation, donated goods for raffles and auctions, match funding and more

THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Grants Manager to join our fundraising team and support the development of our grants and trusts income, from research and writing through to reporting and funder relationships. The in-house Direct Dialogue team was established in 2004 and currently operates face-to-face and door-to-door teams across London, Manchester and Scotland. The team focuses on delivering high-quality new supporters, and direct dialogue fundraising generates around 85% of Shelter’s new regular giving supporters.

Your mission
You’ll help make sure our Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud tools are well-maintained, accurate and easy for teams to use, so that they can run better campaigns and make confident, data-led decisions.
Your profile
Responsibilities
CRM
- Championing our team goal of maintaining a secure, clean, accurate and up-to-date database by data cleansing, encouraging best practice and understanding around the Salesforce org, to allow for data-driven decisions in the broader team.
- Contributing to and developing written guidelines, retrieving and preparing data for upload through Data Loader, using Excel tools and functions to manipulate data (especially Vlookup, but also conditional highlighting, filters, formatting etc.).
- Supporting ~60 internal users with day-to-day bespoke services including reporting, creating and editing list views, maintaining page layouts and best practices, all managed through cases and assigned to you by team needs.
- Actively participating in projects, including owning tasks, critical thinking and inputting into project conversations, and liaising with stakeholders to suggest solutions.
- Run training sessions for staff, from Salesforce basics to more advances and bespoke functionality. Frequently improve and monitor training materials to increase efficiency and adoption.
- Using Form Assembly to create and manage forms, ensuring accurate data collection and entry into Salesforce and independently handling error messages coming in as a part of a rota (after training).
- Using Jira to proactively create and track work
- Work closely with Third Party support providers to progress work. This could be Partner consultancies, Salesforce Support, or other Products in use within the Org.
- Working within the Salesforce NPSP data model, ensuring accurate management of constituents, relationships, and donations.
Marketing Cloud
- This role will support our use of Marketing Cloud Engagement, alongside the CRM team and Partner organisations. This will include:
- Supporting the use and development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including managing data extensions, contact segmentation, and audience creation to support targeted campaigns.
- Ensuring data quality and compliance within Marketing Cloud by maintaining accurate subscriber data, managing preferences, and supporting GDPR best practices.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into technical builds, including personalisation, dynamic content, and automation.
- Monitoring campaign performance through reports and analytics, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Supporting integration and data flow between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, troubleshooting issues and ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Contributing to documentation and best practice guidelines for Marketing Cloud usage, including campaign processes, naming conventions, and data management standards.
- Assisting with user support and training related to Marketing Cloud functionality, helping team members adopt tools and improve campaign execution.
