You will be working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to provide vital support for the services that Beacon offers to our communities.

We are a well-established and well-respected local charity. We have had an active fundraising function in the past, but due to a change of personnel, this has been inactive for over a year. As an organisation, we have some exciting ideas and plans, and a great deal of enthusiasm, but require somebody to join our team and take the lead in re-igniting, developing and delivering our fundraising activities. 

Main objectives of the role:

• To work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy for Beacon Counselling that increases income and support for the charity in furtherance of Beacon’s charitable objectives.
• To develop and deliver a calendar of events and activities to engage support and raise fundraised income for Beacon Counselling.
• To recruit, support and manage fundraising volunteers.
• To identify and nurture key relationships with potential and existing supporters of Beacon’s work, raising the charity’s profile.

Hybrid working is available, with at least 1 day per fortnight in the office.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

• Reporting to clients on the performance of their campaign and being a point of contact for clients during their campaigns

The main responsibilities of this post, is to design, develop, deliver, prepare and assess training and qualifications on behalf of New Pathways. This might include delivery for volunteers, internal staff and external clients. We're looking for a Senior Project Officer, to work in our Innovation and Practice team and support exemplary, agile project management across Involve. 

This is an exciting time to join the Involve team. Alongside increasing public and political interest in our approaches, we are increasing the size and impact of our project work. We have a couple of new multifaceted projects which need really effective and agile project management. As a Senior Project Officer you will contribute to all aspects of our delivery, with a particular focus on project and programme management of larger projects. Your main focus will be on:

• Project management and delivery - core project management and logistics, running onboarding for participants, event management, analysis and reporting, and facilitation

• Building our project management approach further - supporting Involve to build our project management capacity and resources that are appropriate for our creative, inclusive processes and culture

• Project and programme design - working with project teams to design entire projects and processes which use deliberative, qualitative and participatory methods

• Project impact - recording and monitoring how our projects work, the kinds of impacts they have, and the ways they contribute to Involve’s mission. 

This Senior Project Officer role sits in our Innovation and Practice Function. Our team’s daily work includes setting up, managing, designing, delivering and reporting on a wide range of participatory and deliberative processes, ranging from small scale, hyper-local community engagements to large, national, multi-event Citizens’ Assemblies and longer term projects. Our processes can be face to face, hybrid, or online, and often involve bringing together different groups from within the public with interested parties and experts from across government, business , academia and civil society.

In addition, you would work closely with our Capacity Building and Standards team to support their work helping others to deliver these approaches and contribute to our communications and advocacy work. You will also support fundraising for grants and projects, responding to tenders and writing proposals and building relationships with our funders, collaborators and clients. 

We are looking for an excellent project manager, able to manage fairly large projects and task manage others at all levels to ensure smooth delivery. You will be great at managing relationships at all levels and working with others to get things done. Given the nature of our work we are also looking for public participation skills, or relevant or transferable expertise and an understanding of deliberative practice. That will enable you to design and deliver project management, and support facilitation that fits our work and enables you to contribute to advising our clients on designing and delivering effective engagement. It is critical that you are open to new ideas, a good team player, committed to shifting power and addressing inequities in our society and that you are passionate about furthering our vision. Experience of building project management capacity, fundraising and staff management is desirable. 

Salary band: £38,975 - £43,584

Location: Flexible. Must be comfortable with committing to regular travel both for project work and Involve team activities. Must be able to travel across the UK.

Hours: Full time preferred, 35 hours per week, with flexible or part time considered.

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and is looking to recruit an Development & Partnerships Officer, who is an ambitious fundraiser, with experience planning across Trusts/Foundations, Corporate or major donor prospects to join the Fundraising team.

In your role, you will regularly undertake prospect research using a variety of methods to identify and prioritise potentials funding opportunities to help create and maintain the funding pipeline.

You will have a strong abilities in interacting with technology with good attention to detail to understand complex information and issues from different perspectives, articulating these to the team.

You will support Centre 33 to embed and develop a more meaningful impact in line with the organisations strategic plan, by creating strong relationships and working closely to link to the operational vision, optimising resources. Overall Purpose: The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of Rahab's projects. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
 

Service delivery

• Ensure that all aspects of Rahab’s project activities are planned, organized and undertaken to fulfil their objectives within their required timelines.

• Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation, plans, reports, and other project-related documents to monitor and track overall progress, outputs and achievement of milestones.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate project risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress with team members and task as required. 

• Contribute to the development of funding applications in coordination with Rahab’s Fundraiser. 

• Support Rahab team with volunteer recruitment and training. 

• Undertake project tasks as required including supporting the team with outreach when necessary. 

• Provide administrative support such as minuting weekly team update meetings and setting up relevant meetings with external organisations. 

Data collection, record keeping, monitoring & reporting. 

• Maintain accurate data and records that capture and analyse information to (i) inform planning and delivery of casework support; (ii) monitor and evaluate wider project outcomes, (iii) to contribute data for future long-term evaluation of casework approach efficacy. 

• Produce accurate quarterly management reports. 

• Produce timely donor reports for funders within respective deadlines. 

• Facilitate a review of project progress for Rahab team at monthly update team meetings, to support project monitoring and tasking. 
   

Service development

Priority stakeholder relationships 

• Participate in and contribute to collaborative working arrangements, alongside Rahab Manager, in key stakeholder work - SI MARAC (Sex Industry Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference) - with Local Authority, Metropolitan Police and Voluntary and Community sector.

• Participation at monthly SI MARAC meetings, ensuring that the work of the group is effectively joined up with wider groups and meetings focussed on addressing risk and harm.

• Support Rahab’s Senior Caseworker where necessary to ensure SI MARAC outcomes are effectively linked up with Rahab's outreach activities, and work-with Rahab’s Project Manager to ensure team members are kept informed about SI MARAC developments. 

• Work with the team to identify and engage in new professional relationships with key organisations across different sectors, and maintain our existing networks of contacts, to (i) develop and expand Rahab’s activities and reach, and (ii) foster collaboration. 

• Represent Rahab in multi-agency working groups, meetings, and forums, sharing knowledge and learning, publicising services available and how to access support. 

Beneficiary co-production 

• Work with Manager to start developing a framework and mechanism for gathering feedback from beneficiaries to evaluate the support they are receiving. 

• Work with the team to identify opportunities for our beneficiaries’ active participation in the project in ways that are safe and empowering. 

Shared learning 

• Participate in team development and learning in relation to best practice interventions and our casework delivery for beneficiaries. 
   

Continued professional development 

• Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, guidance, and best practice. 

• Within budgetary constraints, attend training and other events to help maintain proficiency and build a network of support amongst peers. 
   

Variation clause 

Rahab reserves the right, following full and reasonable consultation with the post holder, to vary, add or alter the terms and conditions of employment. 
 

Flexibility clause 

To deliver services effectively a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically outlined above and/or outside of specified working hours. Overtime will not be paid; however, TOIL will be accrued for hours worked and staff supported to take that time. This post includes occasional evening work.
