We are strengthening our IT organisation to enhance the provision of IT services to our 2000 staff and many volunteers. The Service Delivery Lead is an exciting new role created to help mature our service framework, drive our service performance and assure continuous improvement. By enabling our staff to work more effectively you will have a direct impact on the lives of those affected by dementia.
The role has day to day responsibility for all aspects of IT service quality, including the performance of our Managed Service Provider. You will lead a team of 4 Service Delivery Analysts, providing guidance and direction and nurturing individual careers. You will be an escalation point for user support and play a key role in the acceptance of projects into service.

Royal Trinity Hospice is the local hospice for southwest and central London. We provide free specialist palliative and end of life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.
The organisation has recently embarked on a new five-year strategy and this exciting role will play a pivotal part in the overall delivery of the technology aspects. The successful appointee of this role will sit within a small but busy IT team and will be responsible for first class support of Royal Trinity Hospice’s customers and systems.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support services to the staff, volunteers and service users at the hospice, and will support the IT Operations Manager in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the IT service is delivered to the agreed standards, as well as providing mentorship and team-leadership to the IT Support Technicians within the team.
What you’ll be doing
The primary duties of the Senior IT Support Technician include, but are not limited to:
- working independently and as part of the wider team, the post holder will be responsible for fulfilling service requests and resolving calls within agreed timeframes.
- supervise, mentor and provide escalated support for IT Support Technicians to provide ‘outstanding, effective and robust’ services and ensure service level targets are met.

Skills and experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as the role necessitates advanced relationship building and communication skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in a similar role in an IT team following ITIL processes/practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 OS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AzureAD and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Exchange and Active Directory.
- A sound understanding of network and server infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT security software solutions.
- Knowledge of various end user computing hardware e.g. Laptops, PC’s, Phones etc.
- Experience of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp is desirable but not essential.
- Able to work to SLA’s and KPI’s.
- A strong ability to fault find customer issues remotely, in person or over the phone, ensuring that outcomes are documented within support tickets.

Working within the supporter care team you will be responsible for processing a high volume of donations. The Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Foundation (GSTF) is undergoing an exciting change and building its own Fundraising function and so are growing its Systems team. This will first support that change but also continue to seek ways to improve how technologies and systems can help the Foundation achieve its goals.
We are excited to be expanding our in-house IT team by recruiting Senior Technical Engineer. We are in the process of bringing our IT helpdesk service in-house, to do so we need a motivated, experienced, patient and friendly third line engineer to join our newly formed team.
We are looking for a solid technical skillset, primarily with Microsoft365 PaaS and IaaS assets, but also someone who can take technical leadership for networking and other services and hosted applications across the organisation.
You will need to be an enthusiastic team-player, who is happy to work on reactive support issues as the need arises, can interact positively and constructively with IT colleagues, leadership and normal users, and serve as a proactive and engaged member of the IT team. The function is in a process of expansion & development, and you will need to demonstrate the benefits of internal, dedicated IT staff within a growing organisation

Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Technical Engineer will be the final escalation stage for support, so will have a pragmatic and level headed approach to problem and change management, to work closely with other support staff and the IT Manager to provide a good quality support service for end users.
- Comfortable completing technical work if needed, as well as having more complex issues escalated to you from junior colleagues in the team, or offering guidance where possible. You’ll be able to authorise change requests in place of the IT manager, and escalate to them if necessary.
- The post-holder, our Support technicians and IT Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of the foundation and it’s subsidiaries. Including, set up and management of the IT equipment as required. The role is a permanent hybrid role, 30% of your time will be based in our London, Southwark office.

You will be the final escalation point and provide advanced technical support, as well as taking on system support. Job Description
This is a great time to join PCR’s Events & Community team as we expand the team off the back of raising over £1.3m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. We’ve had a really successful year with good results across our portfolio, so we’re excited to be recruiting a brand-new role to focus on PCR’s bespoke events and finding the successful events of the future!
We are therefore looking for a proactive team player to join us and lead the innovation and delivery of our programme of PCR-owned fundraising events. This will include our flagship challenge Snowdonia for Science, as well as leading product development of new challenge, community fundraising and special event propositions. The Bespoke Events Manager will also work with colleagues across the organisation to support other strategic and stewardship events.
The position reports to the Head of Events & Community, and will line manage one Events & Community Officer. Collaboration will be a big part of the role, especially with the Virtual & Challenge Events Manager (VCM) who leads our virtual fundraising and third-party challenge events.
Key Responsibilities
As Bespoke Events Manager, we would be very keen to work with you to develop and shape this into an exciting and meaningful role for you. We prioritise our team member's development, and there will be a percentage of time available to work on other areas of the portfolio for development and interest. However, your main focus would be;
Project Management
- Project manage PCR's flagship challenge, Snowdonia For Science. An amazing community event now enering its 16th year and forcast to raise £100k in 2024. This event is well-established but with plenty of room for you to make your mark, grow and improve the event.
- Project manage new events and community products as they are developed and tested, including end-to-end planning and delivery
- Design and deliver ambitious fundraising budgets for your projects which contribute net income towards PCR's lifesaving mission.
- Create good relationships with suppliers, venues, agencies and consultants to ensure great value.
- Lead the stewardship of fundraisers taking part in your events, boosting income and using feedback to continually develop positive journeys, experiences and opportunities for supporters
- Alongside the Head of Events & Community and others, support the development and delivery of other events, including high value fundraising and stewardship events, and plans for a conference style event in collaboration with PCR's Research & Comms and Patient Projects teams.
Product development and innovation
- As a key part of the role, you’ll spend a good proportion of your time developing and testing new fundraising propositions, taking a test & learn approach. For this, there are realistic budgets and an understanding of the investment needed to try new ideas.
- Product development will include special event product testing and at least one new community fundraising product in 2024-25.
- Maintain a good level of understanding of PCR’s existing (and target) supporters in order to create and implement products and stewardship that motivate and inspire them.
- Alongside the Head of E&C and the VCM, embed a culture of innovation and supporter insight in the team.
