A fantastic opportunity has arisen for community children’s nurse to join our friendly, established community health team. We are a busy service with a diverse caseload working with service families and children in Cyprus.
We are looking for a confident, innovative paediatric nurse. You will be required to work in conjunction with the visiting Community Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatricians who provide secondary car as well as the medical officers and GPs, members of the SSAFA Community Health Care Team, schools, and voluntary agencies in your local area.

About the team
You will be based in the Medical Centre working alongside the primary health care team. This challenging but rewarding role offers you the opportunity to expand your clinical role in the community and school setting as well as offering the opportunity to offer support, advice, and strategies to families of children with additional needs. This role also offers the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely on occasions, with prior agreement from Locality Team Leader.
About you
We are looking for an experienced, motivated community paediatric nurse who can work autonomously.
You will need to be a flexible practitioner, a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals, services, and agencies.
You will have the ability to provide case management of an identified case load of children and young people with complex needs. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to support you in managing complex discussions with a range of agencies and individuals including care providers, patients, and relatives.

Fundraising at Calibre Audio is entering an exciting new phase of development. The charity has recently appointed its first Director of Fundraising & Communications, bringing fundraising, communications and brand together under a newly created leadership role. Trusts and foundations are a key part of this growth strategy. Historically, income has been generated through a combination of loyal funders and a high volume of smaller grants. The organisation is now seeking to build a more strategic trusts programme focused on stronger stewardship, deeper funder relationships, larger grants and long-term partnerships. There is significant untapped potential, including opportunities to re-engage previous funders, develop new relationships and secure support for a range of compelling programmes spanning literacy, education, disability, wellbeing and community impact.
The Senior Trusts Fundraiser will lead this work, partnering closely with the Director to shape and deliver the next phase of trusts fundraising at Calibre Audio. This is a role with genuine scope to influence strategy, develop new opportunities and make a visible contribution to organisational growth. It would suit an ambitious trusts fundraiser who enjoys relationship building as much as writing applications and is motivated by the opportunity to help build something.
As Senior Trusts Fundraiser, you will:
- Develop and implement a strategic trusts and foundations fundraising programme aligned with organisational priorities
- Identify, research and cultivate new funding opportunities, with a focus on larger and multi-year grants
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective trusts and foundations
- Develop compelling, high-quality funding applications, proposals and report
- Secure significant income from a portfolio of trusts and foundations
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with funders through excellent stewardship and engagement
- Reactivate and develop relationships with previous funders and supporters
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather impact data and develop compelling cases for support
- Act as a key ambassador for Calibre Audio with funders and external stakeholders
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven track record of securing five-figure grants from trusts and foundations
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to develop persuasive and compelling funding applications
- Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills
- Experience identifying, developing and securing new funding opportunities
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with external stakeholders
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to spot opportunities and drive activity forward
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience securing six-figure and/or multi-year grants
- Knowledge of the disability, literacy, education or wellbeing sectors

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT has offices in London, Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

The role
We are seeking a policy and public affairs leader to drive influence, advocacy and campaigning in Wales. This high-profile role will represent the organisation at senior levels, engaging with Ministers, Members of the Senedd (MSs), officials and the media to champion speech and language therapy and those with communication and swallowing needs.
You will lead the development and delivery of policy and campaigning strategy, building cross-party relationships, shaping national campaigns and supporting members to influence both locally and nationally in English and Welsh. The role also involves planning impactful events, strengthening partnerships and acting as a key spokesperson on policy and legislative issues.
Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will oversee policy development and responses, ensuring emerging legislation and policy are effectively analysed, influenced and communicated. You will also play a central role in promoting the profession, supporting members and networks across Wales and representing the organisation at a senior level to advance its strategic goals.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a confident policy professional with strong political awareness and a passion for influencing change. Welsh speaking is desirable however not essential. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of health, social care and education policy, alongside knowledge of political processes, particularly within the Welsh Parliament and Government and an appreciation of the role of a professional body.
The ideal candidate will have experience of influencing policy in health, education or social care, with a proven track record in lobbying or campaigning at local or national level. You will be skilled in developing policy initiatives from research, evidence and practice, and communicating complex findings to a wide range of audiences. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and influencer, confident in advising civil servants and politicians on sensitive matters and capable of leading or contributing to projects across a complex organisation.

Your role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager to take our individual, community and corporate fundraising to the next level. Building on our existing fundraising and partnerships, you will build and deliver a strategy that maximises income through creative engagement and strong stewardship, ensuring a pipeline of unrestricted income.

2wish Cymru & 2wish:
2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During tis time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales and the bordering counties in England, including; Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, with the plan to continue to roll out support to the whole of England. We work in partnership with professionals who refer int the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
Context of role:
2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and in the bordering counties with England, providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

- To coordinate support services including counselling, complementary therapy and play therapy for bereaved individuals

- Contribute on the social media platforms maintained by 2wish
- Support in the planning of and attend the annual 2wish Conference
- To submit monthly/quarterly/annual reports to management as required
- To signpost and/or refer to other agencies as required that can provide support as needed
General:
- To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration
- To keep clear and up to date records on database of activities with families and any ensuingaction
- To promote the on-going work and continued support that 2wish can offer
- To work as part of a team providing support to suddenly bereaved families
- To work alongside support team and maintain a seamless approach to service delivery
- To maintain a high degree of confidentiality in accordance with the charity’s policies
- To show respect and sensitivity for the cultural and religious beliefs of families
- To undertake learning opportunities and seek them out for the team
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate
- To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary
- Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role
- To contribute to the evaluation and monitoring processes to ensure effectiveness of services and activities provided
- Contribute on the social media platforms maintained by 2wish
It is the nature of the work that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way and tasks, which are not specifically covered in their job description may have to be undertaken.
This role is subject to a DBS check.

Contract type: Permanent
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
