Who we are
Arrhythmia Alliance and its two sister charities (AF Association and STARS – Syncope Trust) is one of the world's leading heart rhythm charities, delivering internationally recognised educational programmes, medical conferences, awareness campaigns patient educational events, awareness programmes and exhibiting at congresses to promote and deliver our work.
A-A was established in 2004 by Trudie Lobban MBE following the successful campaigning led by STARS to improve arrhythmia services in the UK.
A-A is a collaboration of patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, allied professionals, policy makers and all those affected by or involved in the care of those living with an arrhythmia or sudden cardiac arrest.
A-A is recognised globally with representation in over 40 countries, and hosts World Heart Rhythm Week in June each year.
Our culture and values
A-A is unique as an organisation in bringing patients and healthcare professionals together, and putting the patient first, working to restore and provide patients with as active and normal a life as possible.
A-A provides support, information, education, and awareness to all those affected by or involved in the care of cardiac arrhythmias.
