About us

Who we are

Natasha’s Foundation is the food allergy charity, with one bold ambition: a future without food allergy.

We were founded by Nadim and Tanya Ednan-Laperouse following the death of their daughter Natasha from a severe allergic reaction in 2016. Their determination that other families should not experience the same tragedy has grown into a charity driving real and lasting change.

Through pioneering medical research, education and campaigning, we work to improve the lives of people living with food allergy today, while investing in research that could transform the future.

We are a small charity with big ambitions. We work with leading scientists, healthcare professionals, schools, policymakers, families and some of the world’s largest food businesses to increase understanding, improve safety and help find ways to prevent food allergy.

Everything we do takes us towards our ultimate goal: a future without food allergy.

Our culture and values

We are a passionate, ambitious and energetic team who care deeply about our mission and the people we are here to support.

As a small organisation, collaboration really matters. We work closely together, share ideas, support one another and are happy to get stuck in when something needs doing. We value different skills and perspectives and want people to feel confident contributing their ideas and challenging our thinking.

We have high standards and big ambitions, but we also want Natasha’s Foundation to be a positive, supportive and enjoyable place to work. We value kindness, openness, integrity and respect, and we trust our people to take responsibility for their work and make a meaningful contribution.

Above all, we want people who share our passion for making a difference and who are excited by what we can achieve together.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

Natasha’s Foundation is committed to creating a fair, inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone feels they belong.

We believe different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives make us a stronger and more effective organisation. We are committed to equality of opportunity and to ensuring that nobody is treated less favourably because of who they are.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and particularly encourage applications from groups that are underrepresented in the charity sector.

We aim to make our recruitment and working practices accessible and inclusive and will make reasonable adjustments for candidates and employees who need them.

Everyone who works with Natasha’s Foundation should be treated with dignity, fairness and respect, and discrimination, harassment or bullying have no place in our organisation.
