About us
Who we are
Providence House is entering an ambitious phase. Our 2026 - 2029 strategy commits us to growing from a small, stretched organisation into a small, professional one: reaching 150 young people every week through eight interconnected delivery strands; universal youth work (including a girls-only club), one-to-one mentoring, schools work focused on exclusion reduction, community football, youth voice, residentials at East Shallowford Farm in Devon, and a new detached and outreach programme. Every youth club session includes a free hot meal, often the most reliable meal of a young person’s day.
Our culture and values
The strength of Providence House is its people and its community. We place huge value on different people doing things in different ways. The one thing we all have in common is our desire to journey alongside the young people of Battersea and raise their aspirations.
Values:
Excellence - Working from a place of excellence, giving our all to ensure that what we produce is the best it can be.
Young People Focused - Ensuring everything we do is young people-focused.
Christ the Cornerstone - Ensuring everything is built on the foundation of our faith in Christ Jesus.
Above and Beyond - Ensuring that as an organisation we go above and beyond to achieve our goals and support for children and young people.
United Effort - Ensuring that, as an organisation, we work in unity to fulfil our God-given purpose and goal.
Aspiration - Ensuring that we aim for all children and young people to be the best versions of themselves.
