About us
Who we are
The Hospice of St Francis is a charity that provides free, expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in West Herts and South Bucks, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or socio-economic background. We also support their families, carers and those close to them.
Our professional multi-disciplinary team offers support from diagnosis and care is tailored to each individual patient’s needs, helping them to improve and maintain their quality of life.
Care is provided in a patient’s home, at our health and wellbeing Spring Centre hub or in one of our 14 Hospice beds.
Our team also works closely with local hospitals and nursing homes to support patients and share best practice.
We rely on voluntary donations from our local community to raise 80% of over £5 million we need annually to fund our free care.
