About us
Who we are
The Citizens Advice Enfield are an independent Registered Charity and a limited company, and form part of the nationally recognised Citizens Advice network, which consists of 292 local Citizens Advice offices in England and Wales.
We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
Core areas of advice are currently benefits, debt, employment, housing and consumer. We recognise that inequality, discrimination, harassment and abuse can contribute to the problems people face in the 5 core areas and developing our approach to advising on these will remain an important aspect of what we do.
Our culture and values
We offer Free, Confidential, Impartial and Independent advice.
We are a charity organisation not a statutory body.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Valuing inclusion
Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds, and we particularly welcome applications from disabled people, people with physical or mental health conditions, LGBT+ and non-binary people, and people from Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.
