Rivertime Boat Trust

Who we are

The Rivertime Boat Trust is a multi-award-winning charity based in Henley-on-Thames (Reg. Charity No. 1113992).

We make the River Thames accessible to disabled and disadvantaged adults, children and young people.

Simon Davis and the late Pat Davis MBE founded the Trust in 2006, and in 2008 we launched 'Rivertime', a purpose-built 42ft wheelchair-accessible boat with a hydraulic lift. The boat has since welcomed over 35,000 passengers, including care home residents, support groups, families and SEND school children.

SEND schools can join our 100% grant-funded 'All Aboard' learning programme.

We hold the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, and we are run by a small professional team working with trained volunteer skippers and crew. We are now commissioning a second, electric-powered boat so we can reach even more people.
