About Walk Ministries

Walk Ministries is a Christian charity dedicated to supporting men as they transition from prison back into the community. Through supported housing, practical assistance and personalised support, we help individuals rebuild their lives, develop independence and create a positive future.

Our work is rooted in the Christian faith and a belief that every person is created with value, dignity and purpose. We seek to demonstrate God's love in action by offering safe accommodation, guidance, encouragement and opportunities for personal growth to men who are often facing significant challenges as they reintegrate into society.

We work closely with residents, probation services, local authorities, churches and community organisations to provide support that enables individuals to overcome barriers, maintain stable accommodation, access employment and training opportunities, and establish positive and sustainable lifestyles.

Our aim is to walk alongside each individual on their journey, offering hope, practical support and encouragement as they take steps towards independence and a renewed sense of purpose.

As a Christian organisation, our faith underpins everything we do, shaping our values, culture and approach to serving others. We are seeking someone who is able to support and work in accordance with our Christian ethos, values and mission.

Our culture and values

We are a passionate team committed to seeing lives transformed. Our work is rooted in faith and guided by our values of servanthood, humility, compassion, unity and peace. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive culture where everyone is valued, encouraged and able to flourish.

Relationships are at the heart of what we do, and we believe lasting change happens when people experience genuine community and a sense of belonging. At WALK, we do more than provide support; we create a family environment where men can experience belonging, acceptance and hope as they navigate their journey to freedom.

Together, we celebrate progress, encourage resilience, strengthen family connections and help people build lasting foundations for a hopeful future.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and respectful community where everyone is treated with dignity and fairness.

We believe every person has worth, potential and a place to belong. Through acceptance, support and genuine community, we strive to create an environment where people can flourish and contribute to a shared vision of transformation and hope.
