Volunteers play a vital role in helping turn that vision into real world impact, enabling experiences that raise funds, create joy for winners, and support charitable organisations across the UK.
The Role We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly professional Volunteer Charities and Crowdfunder Support Manager to build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and individuals using crowdfunding pages.
This role involves guiding partners from initial contact through onboarding and maintaining ongoing rapport, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and valued throughout their involvement with the platform.
Key Responsibilities
⭑ Identify, approach, and invite suitable charities, community groups, and crowdfunding campaigns to join the platform
⭑ Guide partners through the onboarding process from first contact to launch
⭑ Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both organisations and individuals
⭑ Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, support, and reassurance
⭑ Maintain regular communication to sustain engagement and rapport
⭑ Support individuals who may be experiencing difficult or traumatic circumstances with sensitivity and professionalism ⭑ Coordinate with internal team members to ensure partners receive timely assistance
⭑ Provide clear information about how the platform works and what to expect
⭑ Maintain accurate records of communications and partnership activity using our CRM management system
⭑ Ensure all interactions reflect empathy, professionalism, and respect Skills and Experience Required Essential:
⭑ Strong relationship management or engagement experience
⭑ Excellent customer service skills
⭑ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
⭑ Confidence communicating by phone, email, and online platforms
⭑ High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
⭑ Ability to communicate sensitively with people experiencing challenging circumstances
⭑ Strong IT skills, including confident use of computer databases and standard office software (e.g. Word, Excel)
⭑ Experience using a CRM or similar database system
⭑ Highly organised with strong attention to detail
⭑ Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships
⭑ Professional, reliable, and approachable manner Desirable:
⭑ Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
⭑ Experience working with charities, community groups, or support services

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

This volunteer opportunity is perfect for anyone who enjoys being part of local community events and wants to make a meaningful difference for cats across the South West. As a fundraising events helper, you will support a range of enjoyable activities such as craft fairs, coffee mornings, quiz nights, county shows and supermarket collections. Your support at these events helps raise the vital funds needed to care for cats and kittens in need.
Every event you take part in truly makes a difference. Even small amounts go a long way. Just £5 can feed a cat in our care for 25 days, helping us provide the food, warmth and comfort they rely on.
You do not need previous experience. All you need is a friendly attitude, a willingness to get involved and an interest in helping cats. Whether you prefer setting up stalls, chatting to members of the public or supporting activities throughout the day, there is a place for you on the team. Any time you can give will help us continue our work and support cats who need it most.
This role is very flexible. You can choose to volunteer at a single event for a couple of hours or join multiple events throughout the year. We will keep you updated with upcoming opportunities so you can choose what suits you best.
Wherever you are based in the South West, you will have full support from your fellow volunteers and the Fundraising Hub team. They are always available to offer guidance, resources and encouragement.
We will support you every step of the way.
Time expectation
This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.
We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

We are looking for an Events Assistant who can help us organise monthly community dinners featuring three course meals from around the globe to enable the charity to engage with and attract donors. We require help with running the dinner on the day with tasks including welcoming the guests, serving food and drinks, take payments, setting up and clearing, etc.
You will be working as part of a team to plan and organise other events and fundraisers throughout the year, for example refugee week. You will also be assisting with applying for funds for events including securing raffle prizes, donations of ingredients, material needed, musicians and entertainment, etc.
This role will also include working closely with our marketing team, providing details of upcoming events for promotion; taking pictures and quotes at the event.

Campaign Planning & Execution:

Team Development:

Content Development:
