National AIDS Trust is the UK's HIV rights charity. We work to stop HIV from standing in the way of health, dignity and equality, and to end new HIV transmissions. Our expertise, research and advocacy secure lasting change to the lives of people living with and at risk of HIV.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about bringing an end to the HIV epidemic in the UK and improving the lives of people living with HIV to expand and develop our digital presence, including managing the website, social media and delivering exciting and engaging digital content and projects that support campaigns and fundraising efforts.
You'll be a digital whizz, with a strong understanding of how to use websites and social media as a force for good. You'll know what makes great content, be a fab copywriter and have good design skills. And you'll be able to support with occasional press and media work as part of an integrated communications team.

In the past 18 months Dementia UK has developed a successful virtual event fundraising program that has provided a new income stream and access to new audiences. Dementia UK is expanding the virtual events team to ensure that we have the capacity to maintain and develop this new income stream.
Purpose of Job
To coordinate a portfolio of virtual events, including a series of Facebook challenge events expected to raise over £2 million per year. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all virtual events, delivering marketing plans with the support of an agency that drive participant numbers and income, and stewardship journeys that provide excellent supporter experiences. You’ll keep abreast of developments in virtual events, spotting opportunities and making recommendations on how to grow and diversify the virtual events programme. Working with the Virtual Events Manager, you’ll develop and test new virtual event propositions and evaluate their effectiveness.

We are looking for a Copywriter to join our Brand and Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave. As Copywriter, the work you do will make a real difference. You’ll bring our brand to life so more people are encouraged to reach out to us and inspired to support us.
You’ll make sure any content we create is clear and impactful, reflects our tone of voice and key messages, and helps drive greater awareness and engagement in our work. There will be room for creativity in this role and plenty of variety, as you’ll be writing for a range of different audiences and channels.

- Provide a first-class copywriting service, developing high-quality written content for use across multiple channels and formats.
- Develop messaging and creative copy for awareness campaigns, products and assets and support the creation of publications such as our Impact Report.
- Check and edit external-facing content to make sure that it’s well-written, our brand messaging and tone of voice are reflected, and it’s appropriate for the audience and channel.
- Support the continued use and development of our brand tone of voice, written brand guidelines and editorial guidelines, and make sure they are kept up to date.
- Where appropriate, support with training of staff and volunteers to improve copywriting skills across the organisation.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who understands tone of voice and how to adapt this across difference audiences, projects and channels. You’ll have exceptional copywriting skills and experience of producing content for a range of channels and audiences.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, well-organised, able to work on multiple projects at once and has a great eye for detail.

Join our client and help promote small animal welfare.
Our client, based near Gloucester, has a fantastic opportunity for a Scientific Content Editor to lead and coordinate the creation, curation, communication and promotion of their scientific output. The role will form a key part of the organisation’s strategy to disseminate evidence based scientific information on small animal topics to their members and the wider profession.
The successful candidate will have a degree in life or health sciences - veterinary qualifications, or a PhD or Masters degree in life or health sciences will be a definite advantage, and must possess excellent communication and organisational skills. A key factor will be the ability to digest and summarise complex content and reposition this as required for the intended audience. The successful applicant should also be able to multi-task and prioritise their workload, paying meticulous attention to detail.
The ability to exercise personal initiative and work as part of a team is essential, as is confidence in dealing with senior colleagues, volunteers and contributors. An awareness of the processes of scientific research and publication would be advantageous, as would an awareness of a variety of communication channels including print and digital content, media communications, podcasts etc. An interest in sustainability issues would also be advantageous.
The successful candidate will display natural affinity, integrity and diplomacy for communicating with diverse stakeholders. In addition, they will have a track record of excellent time management, the ability to work independently and on their own initiative.

They are a professional membership association which exists to advance care for companion animals. With a membership of more than 10,000 veterinary surgeons, vet nurses and students, they work in the UK and internationally to promote excellence in small animal practice through education and science, by facilitating training, conducting research and developing policy. Each year they deliver numerous education courses, host the largest small animal Congress in Europe, and publish books, manuals, apps and magazines.

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on qualification and experience
