Job description

We are recruiting for volunteers to contact pharmacies to ascertain whether they have a consultation room to deliver the Safe Spaces Scheme.

Hestia and UK SAYS NO MORE operate over 7,000 Safe Spaces in pharmacies and banks across the UK, for anyone experiencing domestic abuse. 

Volunteers are encouraged to have access to a computer or device that they can edit on Excel, Internet/Wi-Fi signal (to send over the work), as well as access to an unlimited call tariff so that it does not financially inconvenience them.

What you will be doing

  • To contact pharmacies to check whether they have a consultation room to deliver the Safe Spaces Scheme
  • Using Google Search to search for telephone numbers
  • Asking questions following a script

The skills you need

  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Calm, friendly and patient manner
