Responsibilities of the Job position
- To be responsible for crowdfunding for the charity.
- To be collaborate with trustees and fellow fundraising and marketing members on fundraising projects and neurodiversity awareness street clinics.
- To co-deliver neurodiversity awareness “street clinics” in London Universities informing attendees about neurodiversity in Higher Education and signposting to relevant sources and sectors whilst also obtaining donations to the charity.
- To co-write and submit a funding application for a grant to the charity.
- To contribute to the continuous development of the charity’s existing fundraising strategy.
- To partake in continuous professional development opportunities in both neurodiversity knowledge and marketing skills development.
Key responsibilities & objectives of the job:
· To work with the organisation on a remote flexi-time monthly basis to complete tasks (with assistance from our Head of Fundraising & Neurodiversity Awareness Street Clinics with task delegation and organising) which could include the following:
(i) Training: Attend remote training events on Neurodiversity and/or Marketing during January, March, April, May, June, and September
(ii) Fundraising Work Planning Meeting: Online meet with fellow Fundraising Interns, Deputy Head of Fundraising and Head of Fundraising and Neurodiversity Awareness Street Clinics to plan for either Neurodiversity Awareness Street Clinics or Crowdfunding opportunities during February, March, September and October
(iii) Shadowing: Attend remotely the Graduation Day of the Post-16 Neurodiveristy Youth Advocate programme to appreciate the work of the charity in February
(iv) Street Clinic: Co-deliver a 1-hour-30-minute Neurodiversity Awareness Street Clinic in a London University informing attenders of neurodiversity in higher education and sign-posting to appropriate sources and sectors. This event is also a fundraising event to generate extra funds to the charity. Street clinics will be run March, October and November
(v) Marketing Team Liaison: Have an online meeting with one of the Marketing Interns to give key highlights and photos from the Street Clinic in March
(vi) Crowdfunding Month: Reach out to friends, family, and/or work colleagues to encourage donations to the charity in April
(vii) Fundraising Strategy Review Meeting: Work with our Head of Fundraising and Street Clinics to review our yearly fundraising events & Crowdfunding Strategy Plan in May.
(viii) Submitting Funding Application: With “On-Call” support from the Head of Fundraising research and submit at least 1 fundraising application for the charity in June

The AkiOke vision is to provide a fun and inclusive social environment for attendees to explore music, build confidence, and connect with others by singing.

JOB FUNCTION
The post-holder will co-lead on the setup and delivery of AkiOke, a grassroots music and karaoke club. This joyful and inclusive weekly music-based social group is for adults with mild learning difficulties. You will work closely with a young adult with lived experience, who initiated the project and serves as its creative lead.
This role also involves collaboration the Volunteer Coordinator and Trustees, ensuring that all operations are guided by the lived experiences of participants and supported by sustainable outreach and funding strategies.
You will develop strategic and campaign plans and assist marketing volunteers in delivering effective, inclusive campaigns.

The role of Preventative Mental Health Project Worker will support the Project Lead in the preparation for, and delivery of, One-Eighty’s preventative mental health projects including Make Me Smile, Kick Start and the Summer Project.
There is also the opportunity of assisting with the marketing of projects, particularly Make Me Smile and processing of feedback from young people attending the project.
Overseen by One-Eighty’s Project Lead and supported by the Volunteer Coordinator, this role involves:
- preparing the resources to take to project sessions
- creating, maintaining, and developing impact/outcomes data collected pre- and post-sessions,
- supporting the delivery of the sessions to young people themselves - taking a lead role in this is part of the development roles associated with this volunteering opportunity
Skills and qualities needed
o You will be inducted and trained on the service standards for delivery.
o We will also provide training and mentoring to help you understand the administrative and data record-keeping requirements.
o You are required to complete a DBS check.
o You will need to undertake safeguarding and other related training courses prior to this volunteer placement. You will also need to read and agree to safeguarding and service delivery policies prior to the project delivery. One-Eighty holds safeguarding young people as one of its main priorities to enable impactful and high-quality delivery of services.
When and where
Make Me Smile:
We are currently expanding the delivery of this project. Initially, you will be involved in the marketing around this with project delivery opportunities to follow.
Kick Start:
This project is being delivered on an ongoing basis to a variety of schools so there are opportunities to become involved in project delivery immediately.
We need volunteers who can be available for a 7-week block - approximately 1/2 a day each week over the 7 weeks.
o The schools we work in are located throughout Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. There are potential opportunities for car sharing and you can decline an opportunity if it is not viable for you.
o Attendance at our Oxford office will be required for the preparation of materials depending on the project you are assisting with.

What You’ll Do
- Help run pop-up stalls and community events across London.
- Start conversations with members of the public — friendly, informal chats that encourage people to talk about money.
- Promote our free debt advice service and hand out information or small takeaways.
- Build positive relationships with local partners and community venues.
- Take photos and capture stories (with consent) to showcase our impact.
- Help with setting up and packing down banners, stands, and materials.

Social Media Team Lead
About us: Wekume is a youth-led movement empowering students to reach their full potential by breaking barriers to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) through collaboration, empathy, innovation, and community. Our core product — the Wekume app — provides university students with trusted, discreet access to lifesaving tools like SafeChat, QuickTest, ARV Corner, and SRH product ordering. Together with our on-campus engagements and social media platforms, Wekume helps students protect themselves and rewrite the narrative around SRH in Uganda.
Position Summary: The Social Media Team Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and fundraising goals. This role will lead a small team or a group of volunteers, and be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and analyzing performance to drive growth and impact. The ideal candidate is passionate about our cause, a skilled storyteller, and has a proven track record of using social media to build community and inspire action.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and manage a strategic social media plan across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media coordinators, interns, or volunteers.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media, ensuring all efforts contribute to organizational goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and integrate them into our strategy.
2. Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation of a content calendar and ensure timely and consistent posting.
- Generate high-quality, compelling, and mission-aligned content, including text, images, and videos.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns for fundraising, awareness, and advocacy.
- Ensure all content is on-brand and in line with our communication guidelines.
3. Community Engagement:
- Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive online community that supports our mission.
- Identify and engage with key influencers, partners, and community members to amplify our message.
4. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance on a regular basis.
- Use data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and inform future strategies.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on social media progress and impact.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., fundraising, programs, communications) to ensure social media efforts support their objectives.
- Collaborate on integrated campaigns and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Housing has been the core activity of Harrison Housing since 1869 when it was established as an almshouse to help older people in need. Today we are also a registered provider, delivering both sheltered accommodation services and general needs accommodation for older people. We also manage an additional portfolio of properties in the London area for other almshouses. Harrison Housing's head office is based in Holland Park, London, UK.
Role Description
We are looking to recruit two new Trustees to join Harrison Housing's Board of Trustees. These are volunteer roles but reasonable out of pocket expenses, associated with carrying out the role, can be claimed for. Our Trustees are responsible for overseeing the Charity's activities, maintaining compliance with regulations, participating in Board and Committee meetings, and ensuring the wellbeing of our residents remains our highest priority. There are a mixture of in-person and remote meetings and Trustees are expected to prepare for and attend them several times a year.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of the charity or social housing sector and relevant regulations and governance responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Time commitment to attend Board meetings and relevant training sessions.
We are particularly keen to hear from those who possess one or more of the following:
- Experience of property management, including the provision of resident-focused housing services.
- Experience of managing an efficient repairs and property maintenance service responsible for responsive, cyclical, and planned works.
- Experience of developing and overseeing effective, long-term charity fundraising strategies.
- Experience in marketing, public relations or communications within a housing provider or charitable organisation.
