The Role:

As our Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead the strategic development and growth of our global portfolio of corporate partnerships. You will identify, secure, and steward high-value, multi-dimensional partnerships that provide financial, technical, and in-kind support to the organisation and its National Management Teams.

With a strong focus on innovation and impact, you will build partnerships that not only generate funding but also deliver technical expertise, capacity building, and shared value across all countries of operation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Partnership Development

• Develop and deliver a global corporate partnerships strategy aligned with organisational priorities.

• Identify and prioritise partners across sectors and geographies.

• Create compelling partnership propositions that drive mutual value and long-term engagement.

Technical Resourcing & Capacity Support

• Build partnership models focused on skills transfer, technical expertise, and capacity building.

• Negotiate agreements securing pro bono support, secondments, advisory services, and knowledge transfer.

• Work with National Management Teams to identify and meet technical and operational needs.

Relationship Management & Stewardship

• Manage key corporate relationships to ensure engagement and long-term support.

• Oversee delivery of partnership commitments, reporting, and recognition.

• Implement stewardship plans including communications, impact reporting, and engagement events.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with leadership, trustees, and country teams to align partnerships with priorities.

• Work with programme, communications, and fundraising teams to integrate opportunities.

• Champion corporate partnerships internally, building organisational capability.

Governance, Reporting & Learning

• Set and monitor KPIs for partnership performance and impact.

• Report to leadership and Board on pipeline, outcomes, and strategy.

• Ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and regulations.

• Promote continuous learning and best practice in corporate engagement.

Representation & Advocacy

• Represent the organisation at international forums and stakeholder meetings.

• Advocate for private sector engagement in sustainable development.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships or business development, including 5+ years in senior roles.

• Proven success managing high-value, complex partnerships with corporates or foundations.

• Strong experience negotiating agreements involving technical support or capacity building.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Strong strategic and commercial thinking.

• Outstanding communication and proposal-writing ability.

• Collaborative, cross-cultural, and globally minded.

• Innovative, solutions-focused, and mission-aligned.

Desirable

Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP)

At Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership, our objective is to provide practical and emotional support, ultimately helping our clients achieve a sustainable position as full members of our society. Many of our clients are destitute, homeless and have no access to assistance from the government. Our mission is to provide access to advice and essential services until statutory services are in place.

Volunteering as a Social Media Volunteer provides an opportunity for you to help promote the charity to current and potential clients as well as the wider community, which could attract donors and other volunteers. As well as this it will be a way for you to develop your social media and computer skills, gain experience volunteering for a charity and also it will be an interesting addition to your CV!

Full training will be given on starting the role, including safeguarding, as well as regular training sessions and continual support from other volunteers.

Responsibilities:

· Updating the charity’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages regularly (ideally at least weekly).

· Liaising with other volunteers from other services to gather photos and information to post prior to and after events/sessions.

· Attend and take photos of the bigger charity events throughout the year.

· Try to gain more followers and traction through social media.

· Reply to comments, share posts and stories and follow relevant local and national organisations.

Requirements:

· 1-2 ad/hoc hours a week.

· Complete training as required and attend bi-monthly volunteer support meetings.

Skills:

· An ability to communicate and empathise with people from a variety of backgrounds and needs.

· Basic IT and social media skills.

· Can work well as part of a team.

· Enthusiasm to help refugee clients.

Desirable experience: 

· Previous volunteering experience.

· Able to follow new social media trends and algorithms to create as much engagement as possible.

What can I expect to be doing? 

As a flexible role, you have the choice to be involved in the following: 

• Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping with our fundraising events, attending supermarket collections or local markets. 

• Distributing collection tins – popping collection tins into local shops and pubs and collecting them when they’re full. 

• Bringing new ideas! - We always love to come up with new ideas to raise funds for cats and we’d love to help bring yours to life. 

• Engaging with your local branches and Fundraising Hub and feeling like an integral part of the team!

Every penny counts when it comes to improving the lives of the thousands of cats and kittens across the UK that need our help each year. Our Collection Box Volunteers help us raise vital funds by collecting and distributing collection boxes in their local area. Making a difference can mean as little as raising 20p, which is enough to feed one cat in our care for a day, to £150 which is the average cost of a cat in our care.

What can I expect to be doing?

As a flexible role, you have the choice to be involved in the following:

• Researching local shops, pubs and businesses to place Collection Boxes
• Delivering Collection Boxes to locations
• Recording donations and thanking local businesses and supporters
• Collecting and replacing Collection boxes when they're full

Green Allotments is a small, national, charity on a mission to create new allotment sites in England. 

We are currently looking for lovely volunteers for various roles which are all home-based:

Archaeologist (desk-based, minimum of 3 years work experience)

There are no set hours when volunteering for us and you can turn down anything that you are offered. Obviously, we will treat you with dignity and respect.

What we need from you

This is a highly flexible role, and you can choose how you’d like to get involved. Opportunities include:

• Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping at fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, and monitoring collection tins
• Online fundraising – setting up online appeals and writing engaging cat case studies to maximise donations
• Marketing and promotion – spreading the word about fundraising activities via social media and local press
• Administration – processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, and completing Gift Aid paperwork
• Championing our work – helping to develop new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
• Photography – capturing images of cats in care, cats we’re helping, fundraising events, and all things Cats Protection

Time commitment

This role is flexible and designed to fit around your other commitments. You’ll be part of a friendly team raising vital funds — and having fun along the way.
