About us
Who we are
Plum Village UK is a working name for the UK charity The Community of Interbeing UK, which promotes the practice of mindfulness and mindful living in the Plum Village tradition in the UK.
Why Plum Village UK?
By using the name Plum Village UK we align ourselves with the Plum Village Mindfulness practice of Thich Nhat Hanh and the global Plum Village family. Increasingly Plum Village Mindfulness is a term people use and understand easily and will become more and more important as the community collectively continues Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings.
The unique accessible, joyful, engaged form of Buddhist practice that has been developed by Thich Hanh Hanh and his students over the last 30 plus years is increasingly known as The Plum Village Tradition.
