We are looking for a Volunteer Marketing Automation Specialist to help build and manage the CIC’s digital systems that connect campaigns, content, and community engagement.
You will design and maintain automated workflows, supporter journeys, and tools that help people take meaningful action while respecting trauma-informed and safeguarding principles. This role works closely with the Digital Marketing Director and Marketing team to ensure digital systems are secure, ethical, and effective.
The role focuses on marketing automation, workflow design, and improving supporter experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated workflows connecting email, forms, CRM, and campaigns
- Build supporter journeys for volunteering, fundraising, membership, and engagement
- Develop logic-based workflows (triggers, segmentation, conditional pathways)
- Integrate digital platforms and ensure smooth, GDPR-compliant operations
- Monitor performance, optimise systems, and document processes clearly
- Work with campaign teams and copywriters to align messaging and automation
- Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and flag potential risks
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or interest in CRM, marketing automation, or workflow design
- Understanding of digital funnels, supporter journeys, and performance metrics
- Ability to design structured, logic-based workflows and troubleshoot systems
- Comfort working within safeguarding, GDPR, and ethical frameworks
- Experience in nonprofit or social impact campaigns is helpful but not required
- Familiarity with automation tools like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Zapier or Salesforce is a plus

The Operations Coordinator ensures that organisational activity is aligned, visible and executed efficiently in line with the organisation’s mission, safeguarding responsibilities and growth.
You will play a key role in connecting teams, workflows and systems ensuring that day-to-day operations are coordinated, accountable and sustainable as the C.I.C grow.
This is not a purely administrative role. It is coordination-driven, systems-focused and central to how the organisation delivers impact behind the scenes.

The Operations Coordinator ensures that work happens effectively, while the Operations Analyst ensures that work happens efficiently. Both roles are complementary: one drives execution, the other drives improvement.

The Data and Donor Relations Officer ensures that donor information is accurate, secure, and effectively used to build strong relationships, improve engagement, and guide fundraising strategy. You will be the guardian of donor data and the connector between insight and action, ensuring that each supporter feels valued and informed while maintaining ethical and safeguarding standards.
This is not a generic admin role. It is strategic, detail-focused and high-impact, central to the C.I.C’s long-term sustainability.
Purpose of the Role
This role exists to:
- Maintain and manage donor databases with accuracy and security
- Track donor engagement, contributions, and interactions
- Analyse donor behaviour and generate insights to inform campaigns and communications
- Support the Fundraising Director and Communication Specialists with data-driven strategies
