The Mindful Foundation is a growing UK charity working across abuse prevention, emotional wellbeing, trauma recovery, rehabilitation, and victim support. We are looking for a Volunteer Marketing Assistant to help us increase awareness of our work, grow our online presence, and support our outreach.

You would support marketing and communications across our three core projects:

• Think Different: Preventing Harm Through Education
A trauma-informed early psychoeducational programme for children and young people aged 8–18 in schools, alternative provision settings, and foster care. Aiming to improve emotional control, self-worth, and resilience to stress to prevent harmful behaviour before it begins.

• True Power: Change Starts Inside
A behavioural change and rehabilitation programme supporting offenders and helping reduce reoffending. Aiming to improve emotional management, self-worth, control, and accountability to prevent harmful behaviour repeating.

• ListenApp
A discreet victim support app designed to help individuals experiencing abuse alert their support network instantly. Connecting those in danger to their emergency contacts and preventing harmful behaviour escalating.

The role may include:

• Supporting social media content and scheduling
• Setting up Google Ads
• Helping create awareness campaigns
• Assisting with newsletters, blogs, or website updates
• Designing simple promotional materials or graphics
• Supporting outreach to schools, charities, organisations, or communities
• Helping grow engagement and visibility online

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has marketing, communications, social media, branding, PR, or content creation experience
• Is creative, organised, and proactive
• Has strong written communication skills
• Wants to use their skills to support meaningful social impact work

Experience within the charity sector is helpful but not essential.

About TreeAction UK

Tree Action UK is a not for profit community initiative dedicated to restoring local green spaces through tree planting and environmental care.

We plant trees in schools, colleges and on public land in Sussex. Our projects help support environmental education for young people, improve our local environment and enhance community wellbeing.

The Role

We’re seeking a Volunteer Fundraising Assistant to support our sponsorship and corporate partnership efforts. This is a fully remote, unpaid volunteer position. We ask that you are available to volunteer around 1 or 2 hours per week to help contact local sponsors by sendon out our brochure via email to local business, to promote sponsorship of for our community tree planting and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and approaching potential corporate sponsors and partners aligned with our environmental mission.
• Help manage sponsorship outreach, including drafting emails, follow-ups and tracking responses.
• Maintain organised records of contacts, opportunities, and progress using simple tools like spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with the team to celebrate successes and refine our fundraising strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for environmental causes.
• Comfortable with email outreach and admin tasks.
• Self-motivated, this is a remote role with flexible hours.
• Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or customer relations is a plus

About Us

Adventures for Animals was established as a fundraising initiative of IAPWA to empower passionate individuals to explore the world whilst changing it for animals in need. Every trek, climb, and challenge helps fund IAPWA’s vital rescue, rehabilitation, vaccination and community outreach programmes. Through storytelling, content, and community engagement, we aim to inspire people who care about both animals and exploration.

Volunteer Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Volunteer Social Media Assistant to help grow and maintain our online presence. This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer role ideal for someone passionate about animal welfare, adventure, travel, and digital storytelling.

While the role does not involve travel itself, we’re looking for someone who enjoys the adventure and travel space and can help bring that energy into engaging social media content whilst integrating some of the animal welfare stories from IAPWA.

The position is designed to fit around your schedule, with an expectation of approximately 2 posts or reels per week.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content for Instagram and Facebook
• Design simple graphics, reels, captions, and stories aligned with our brand and mission
• Help maintain a consistent social media presence
• Source and repurpose existing content where appropriate
• Write captions that encourage engagement and awareness around animal welfare and adventure-related topics
• Engage with and grow our online community and increase overall reach
• Stay aware of social media trends and suggest content ideas

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for animal welfare, adventure, and travel
• Interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
• Basic experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms
• Strong written English and a good eye for engaging content
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
