The Alec Dickson Trust is a grant making charity looking to recruit one volunteer to join its Board with expertise in Fundraising. The Trust supports young people who, through volunteering or community service, aim to enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society.

EQUAL AQUA is an award-winning NGO providing equal access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in Uganda. Equal Aqua is managed by an international team of 30+ volunteers, based mainly in the UK and Uganda, but spanning over 10 countries.

We are looking to expand and diversify our team of volunteers – seeking candidates with knowledge and skills in various fields, and a deep passion for our cause.

Fundraising Manager (volunteer) - Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of Equal Aqua's fundraising strategy in line with business objectives, and the vision and values of EAU;
• Lead an international team of volunteers to execute the fundraising strategy, delegating and managing responsibilities as appropriate;
• Lead EAU Fundraising team to raise income through multiple channels: grant and charitable foundation applications, corporate sponsorship, individual and community giving, and creative fundraising events;
• Manage a portfolio of existing supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors;
• Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to EAU;
• Monitor developments in the funding world/landscape and identify opportunities to bid for funding.
• Be a key player in preparing the annual budget, tracking income and expenditure, and achieving the annual targets agreed for individual giving, mid-level giving, and wider voluntary funding.
• Report to the Equal Aqua Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.

Business Functions

• Work independently and proactively, working flexibly during peaks and troughs of EAU’s activities, while prioritising work to meet deadlines;
• Support reporting to Equal Aqua’s Executive Committee, relevant subcommittees, and Board of Trustees;
• Attend EAU team meetings, committee meetings, and (where appropriate) Board of Trustees;

Coempowered is a small education charity creating spaces for philosophical inquiry, critical thinking and meaningful dialogue. We work mainly with children, young people and young adults, including Persian-speaking communities from Afghanistan and Iran, with Kurdish-language provision also developing.

If you are earlier in your fundraising career, or have strong transferable skills in research, writing, communications, project development or similar work, we can agree a more focused area of responsibility and support you to develop your experience.

We would rather build a good team around complementary strengths than expect one volunteer to do everything.

Wear Yellow Day is one of Cystic Fibrosis Trust's flagship fundraising campaigns, bringing people together across the UK to raise awareness and vital funds for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis.

Since launching more than a decade ago, Wear Yellow Day participants have raised over £1 million to support Cystic Fibrosis Trust's work. We're now looking ahead to Wear Yellow Day 2027, taking place on 11 June 2027, and are seeking enthusiastic Champions to help us build on that success.

As a Wear Yellow Day Champion, you'll help spread the word about the campaign through your own networks. Whether that's encouraging colleagues, inspiring friends and family, promoting Wear Yellow Day within a school or community group, or sharing campaign messages online, you'll play an important role in helping make the campaign a success.

By joining us early, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape ideas, build awareness and generate momentum ahead of Wear Yellow Day 2027.

This is a UK based role and a flexible volunteering opportunity that can fit around your existing commitments. Full training, resources and support will be provided.

Fundraising Volunteer - RSPCA North West London & South Hertfordshire Branch

Could you use your fundraising skills to help animals?

Every year, our Branch rescues, cares for and rehomes hundreds of unwanted, stray and abandoned animals. We also help local pet owners who are struggling to afford essential veterinary treatment, helping animals get the care they need and, wherever possible, stay with the people who love them.

As a local RSPCA branch, we raise the money we need ourselves. Donations, grants, gifts in wills and support from our local community make it possible for us to rescue animals, provide veterinary treatment, care for them while they are with us and find them loving new homes. We're looking for a Fundraising Volunteer to help us find new sources of funding and develop ideas that will bring more support to our work.

This could be a great opportunity if you have fundraising experience and would like to use your skills for something that has a direct local impact. You don't need to be an animal welfare expert. We can tell you all about our work and the difference your fundraising could make. We’re looking for 3 Support Group Volunteers over the age of 18 years old, based at 30 Breezemount Grove, Conling, Bangor, BT23 7TX.

You’ll be volunteering every Wednesday between 11am and 1pm.

As a support group volunteer, you will help with the running of the group. The role is designed to suit the needs of the group, and the skills of people offering support. If you enjoy getting to know your community, working with others and making a real difference then this is the role for you.

The volunteer will be

The Role

We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly professional Volunteer Charities and Crowdfunder Support Manager to build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and individuals using crowdfunding pages.

This role involves guiding partners from initial contact through onboarding and maintaining ongoing rapport, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and valued throughout their involvement with the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and invite suitable charities, community groups, and crowdfunding campaigns to join the platform

• Guide partners through the onboarding process from first contact to launch

• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both organisations and individuals

• Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, support, and reassurance

• Maintain regular communication to sustain engagement and rapport

• Support individuals who may be experiencing difficult or traumatic circumstances with sensitivity and professionalism

• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure partners receive timely assistance

• Provide clear information about how the platform works and what to expect

• Maintain accurate records of communications and partnership activity using our CRM management system

• Ensure all interactions reflect empathy, professionalism, and respect

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Strong relationship management or engagement experience

• Excellent customer service skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence communicating by phone, email, and online platforms

• High level of empathy and emotional intelligence

• Ability to communicate sensitively with people experiencing challenging circumstances

• Strong IT skills, including confident use of computer databases and standard office software (e.g. Word, Excel)

• Experience using a CRM or similar database system

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships

• Professional, reliable, and approachable manner

Desirable:

• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)

• Experience working with charities, community groups, or support services

• Experience in partnerships, outreach, or fundraising roles

• Experience working remotely within a team

• Based in London or Hertfordshire for occasional in person meetings (not essential)

Working Arrangement

• Fully remote position

• Flexible working hours depending on organisational needs

• Occasional support calls or meetings with partners

• No travel required. However, if you choose to meet with partners in person, reasonable travel costs will be covered where possible

Although this is currently a volunteer position, Influential Stars is actively working to grow the platform with the long term aim of creating paid roles. While we are unable to provide a timeframe and future opportunities will depend on the organisation’s growth and incoming work, this role offers the chance to be part of that journey from an early stage.

We’re looking for three Support Group Volunteer over the age of 18 years old, based in Scotland.

You’ll be volunteering fortnightly Thursday between 10:30am and 11:30am plus additional time for volunteer team meetings and training.

The Pinnacle Centre is a third space in Birmingham helping young adults grow holistically. We work across three domains: personal development, sports and wellbeing, and community and belonging.

Vision 2030 is where that work is heading. We're building a multi-purpose centre in Birmingham — sports facilities, co-working space, an auditorium and a café — designed as a home for young adults to train, work, learn and gather.

Role Summary

You own grant income. You find the funders worth applying to, write applications that win, and meet the reporting obligations that make funders willing to fund us again.

Key tasks

1.  Research & pipeline

○ Research trusts, foundations and statutory funders whose priorities genuinely match our work.

○ Maintain a pipeline with deadlines, values and likelihood.

○ Recommend which opportunities to pursue and which to decline.

2.  Applications

○ Write applications, working with Programmes for evidence and Finance for budgets.

○ Tailor each application rather than recycling the same text.

○ Manage submission deadlines so that nothing is missed.

3.  Reporting & relationships

○ Deliver monitoring reports on time and to the funder's specification.

○ Track restricted spend against grant conditions with Finance.

○ Build relationships with funders that go beyond the application form.

4.  Records & learning

○ Maintain accurate records of applications, outcomes and feedback.

○ Learn from unsuccessful bids and share what you learn.

○ Report progress against target to the CFO.

What we're looking for

● Grant writing experience with a success rate you can describe.

● Excellent written English and the discipline to follow a specification exactly.

● Comfortable interpreting funder criteria and reading between the lines.

● Deadline-driven and well organised.

● Knowledge of the UK grant landscape (desirable).
