Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC is a grassroots movement committed to confronting and eradicating Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) across the UK. We empower survivors, families, and allies to speak out, heal, and educate communities through storytelling, outreach, and collective action. Built on truth, justice, and love, we are community-driven and volunteer-led.
The Role
Volunteer Business Development Officer – Donor Acquisition
Job Purpose
This is not a sales role. It’s a relationship-building role focused on identifying, engaging, and onboarding donors who align with our mission. You will help grow sustainable support through ethical outreach, trust, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
● Identify and engage potential donors
● Introduce the organisation’s mission and impact
● Support donor onboarding and activation
● Promote the organisation within your networks
● Track outreach and provide simple updates
What We’re Looking For:
● Strong communication and relationship-building skills
● Confidence in outreach and engaging new people
● Self-motivated and proactive approach
● Passion for social impact and community work
● (Desirable) Experience in fundraising, sales, or outreach
