HENRY (Health, Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young) is seeking passionate and strategic individuals to join our Board of Trustees at an exciting point in our journey.

For over 15 years, HENRY has worked alongside parents, carers, communities and professionals to give babies and young children the healthiest possible start in life. Our evidence-based programmes, training and support help families build healthy habits, strengthen relationships and improve long-term wellbeing, particularly in communities experiencing the greatest health inequalities.

Today, HENRY supports more than 21,000 families every year and trains professionals across health and early years services nationwide. Last year alone:

• 21,662 families received support through our programmes, workshops and one-to-one services
• 9,608 parents and babies benefited from infant feeding support
• 88% of participants reported leading a healthier family lifestyle
• 96% rated our programmes and workshops as good or great
• 35% of families we supported were from the most deprived communities in the UK

About the Role

As a Trustee, you will play a key role in shaping HENRY's future. Working alongside fellow Board members, you will provide strategic leadership, support good governance, oversee organisational sustainability and help ensure we continue delivering meaningful impact for families across the UK.

This is a strategic, non-operational role that offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise while making a lasting difference to children's lives.

MINDSET Charity is a brand-new, grassroots, volunteer-led charity based in Ealing, West London. Our mission is to support the mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and personal growth of local men and boys. Through positive role models, structured mentoring, and growth-mindset coaching, we aim to build a stronger, more supportive community from the ground up.

The Role:
Because we work directly with school-aged boys and vulnerable men, safety is our highest priority. We need an experienced Safeguarding Lead to serve as our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on the board. You will ensure our operational volunteers are safely vetted and that our mentoring spaces remain secure and compliant with UK law.

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins

• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press  
• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork
• championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement

Romanian-Speaking Community Support Volunteer

Role Overview

Europia is looking for a Romanian-speaking volunteer to support community sessions for the Salford Central and Eastern European Health Navigators Project.

The project supports Central and Eastern European residents in Salford who may face language, digital or other barriers when accessing health and community services.

The volunteer will help welcome people, provide Romanian language support and help residents use digital services. They will work alongside Europia staff to make sessions welcoming and accessible.

What the Role Will Involve

• Interpret between Romanian-speaking residents and Europia staff during community sessions.

• Help Romanian-speaking residents communicate with Europia staff. 

• Clearly interpret information provided by Europia staff.

• Translate short written information, messages and instructions between Romanian and English.

• Help check that translated information is clear and easy to understand.

• Welcome residents when they arrive at community sessions.

• Explain how the session works and who service users need to speak to.

• Help service users use mobile phones, websites, online forms and digital services.

• Help prepare the room before sessions and tidy the space afterwards.

Shopmobility is a scheme that supports people to hire mobility aids during their visit to the city. We're based in Chantry Place (previously Chapelfield Shopping Centre) and we are looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop.This is a great opportunity to volunteer, build your skills and meet new people! 

Role overview: 

 As is typical of working with the community, no one day is the same.  As such, the role may include, but is not limited to: 

• Opening the site ready for business and helping to prepare the shop 
• Closing the shop at the end of the day

• Supporting customers to work out what they need, and to hire the equipmen

 The site will follow the COVID19 safety guidelines and volunteers will be reimbursed reasonable expenses incurred whilst supporting us.

Our collection box fundraising volunteers help our volunteer groups raise vital funds by collecting and distributing collection boxes in their local area. Making a difference can mean as little as raising 20p, which is enough to feed one cat in our care for a day, to £150 which is the average cost of a cat in our care.

 What we need from you

You’ll be:

· overseeing the collection and delivery of collection boxes in different locations

· recording donations and thanking local businesses and supporters

· researching local areas for collection box ‘hot spots’

· sharing fundraising ideas with other volunteers and putting these into practice 

· sharing your passion for cat welfare and promoting the work of Cats Protection

Time expectation

Our collection box fundraising volunteers usually spend 1 to 2 hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

The data systems we use for biometric athlete monitoring—Kubios and Elite HRV systems—are the exact same physiological tracking tools used by global giants like Real Madrid. Your Professional Backroom Team 📋

At most grassroots clubs, the coach has to do everything from pumping balls to managing injuries. Not here. You will lead a fully functional, professional-grade multidisciplinary backroom team dedicated entirely to supporting your tactical vision:

• Video Analyst: Records and analyses matches, offering feedback to you and your players to sharpen tactics and performance.
• Strength & Conditioning Coach: Designs fitness programs to enhance player strength, stamina, and reduce injury risks.
• Sports Therapist: Manages injury recovery, provides treatments, and ensures peak physical health all season.
• Sports Psychologist: Supports mental well-being, building resilience and focus to optimize performance on and off the pitch.
• Journalist, Photographer & Social Media Team: Captures key moments, writes match reports, and runs high-impact marketing campaigns to boost club visibility and build your personal profile as a manager.

Your Mission on the Pitch:

• Ignite the First Team: Deliver electric, high-tempo training sessions that make players sprint to training after work.
• Own Matchday: Bring your tactical absolute best to the touchline. Inspire, adjust, integrate loan players seamlessly, and drive the squad to win.
• Weaponise Data: Collaborate with your S&C coach and backroom staff to integrate HRV data, pro-level biometrics, and video analysis into your tactical blueprint.
• Protect the Culture: Build a fierce, loyal, inclusive family where every player feels valued, respected, and ready to fight for the badge.

Who You Are:

• You hold a UEFA C Diploma (minimum) or higher.
• You don't just manage players; you inspire them. You speak with clarity, passion, and empathy.
• You are fascinated by modern football—tactics, player pathways, sports science, and player psychology.
• You care deeply about equality and creating space for women to thrive in sport.

What we need from you

This is a highly flexible role, and you can choose how you’d like to get involved. Opportunities include:

• Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping at fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, and monitoring collection tins
• Online fundraising – setting up online appeals and writing engaging cat case studies to maximise donations
• Marketing and promotion – spreading the word about fundraising activities via social media and local press
• Administration – processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, and completing Gift Aid paperwork
• Championing our work – helping to develop new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
• Photography – capturing images of cats in care, cats we’re helping, fundraising events, and all things Cats Protection

This role is flexible and designed to fit around your other commitments. You’ll be part of a friendly team raising vital funds — and having fun along the way.
