We value volunteer development, and as part of this role your can develop your skills further by training to become a till user alongside your regular shop volunteer responsibilities, or progressing into a Key volunteer, a role which includes opening, running, and closing the shop in the absence of the manager.

• Sorting, steaming and preparing donations for sale.

• Keeping the shop floor clean, safe and tidy.

We’re seeking friendly, reliable individuals aged 18 or over who want to make a

difference in their community. No prior experience is needed, as we provide

full training. If you’re open to learning, enjoy working with others, and have a

passion for helping people, you’ll fit right in!

You have the time to become a volunteer in your community; you might be

looking for work experience, the opportunity to meet new people, or keep active.

When:

· Monday to Saturday and Sundays – Am/Pm – 4 hours or just even 2 hours we are very flexible.

What you will be doing:

· Chatting to Customers - giving great customer service on the till.

· Operating the Till

· Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy

· Accepting donations from members of the public

· Assisting with stocking the shop floor

· Full Training and support are given for this role – no prior experience necessary.

What's in it for you:

· Lunch expenses paid for 5 hours or more volunteered in one shift up to £7.00

· Travel expenses are paid when travelling by bus, parking expenses are paid if driving and petrol expenses are paid at the discretion of the Shop Manager.

Your leadership will help us launch a programme that is practical, empowering and life‑changing — and your work will directly shape the futures of the people we serve.

YOUR Mission

As our Volunteer Employability Programme Development Manager, you will:

1. Design and develop our full employability programme from concept to launch.
2. Create a structured, engaging and accessible curriculum for adults facing barriers to work.
3. Build modules covering CV writing, interview skills, job search strategies, workplace confidence, digital skills and more.
4. Work closely with our Careers Coaches, Mentors and Leadership Team to ensure the programme is holistic and impactful.
5. Develop clear processes, delivery plans and evaluation methods.
6. Ensure the programme is ready to launch as soon as possible.
7. Bring creativity, structure and passion to a programme that will transform lives.

Influential Stars was founded by Lisa Connell, who is living with an inoperable brain tumour and has spent many years raising awareness and support for UK causes. The platform was created from a deeply personal belief that influence, connection, and community can be powerful forces for good when brought together in the right way.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping turn that vision into real world impact, enabling experiences that raise funds, create joy for winners, and support charitable organisations across the UK.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, organised and supportive Volunteer Campaign, Creator and Activity Support Manager to oversee new registrations, support Creators from onboarding through to campaign completion, upload new experiences to the platform and assist with live campaigns.

This role focuses on ensuring new Creators and Collaborators receive a smooth, welcoming and professional experience, that experiences are accurately uploaded and maintained, and that live campaigns receive the support needed to run successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new Creator and Collaborator registrations from initial application through to onboarding and next steps

• Review registration information, follow up where anything is missing and ensure records are kept up to date in the CRM

• Guide new Creators and Collaborators through the registration and onboarding process, including selecting their cause, campaign and experience where appropriate

• Arrange, support and conduct introductory or campaign setup calls where appropriate.

• Upload new experiences to the Influential Stars platform, ensuring descriptions, pricing, links, images and key details are accurate

• Regularly review live experiences and update or remove listings where pricing, availability or exclusions have changed

• Send approved welcome emails, registration communications and onboarding information using existing templates

• Arrange and support introductory or campaign setup calls where appropriate

• Monitor and support all live campaigns on the platform

• Liaise with creators throughout the live campaign period to provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support

• Schedule, diarise, and send campaign communications using approved templates

• Coordinate with internal team members when campaigns go live

• Provide reminders, tips, and prompts to help creators maximise engagement

• Respond to creator enquiries and provide assistance as needed

• Conduct support calls where appropriate

• Maintain accurate records of communications and campaign progress using our CRM management system

• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Strong customer service experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence using computers and online systems

• Experience using a CRM or similar database system

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently

• Supportive, positive, and professional approach

• Reliable and proactive working style

Desirable:

• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)

• Experience uploading products, listings or content to a website or online platform

We value volunteer development, and as part of this role your can develop your skills further by training to become a till user alongside your regular shop volunteer responsibilities, or progressing into a Key volunteer, a role which includes opening, running, and closing the shop in the absence of the manager.

• Keeping the shop floor clean, safe and tidy.
• Talking to customers about Sense and the work we do.

Key responsibilities: Till volunteer

Being a till volunteer includes all the same responsibilities as a shop volunteer, however, when you’re ready, we’ll provide you with additional training to:

• Serve customers on the till in a warm and friendly way.
• Put sales through the till, packing them and thanking the customer for shopping with us.
• Talk to customers about Gift Aid and other fundraising initiatives.

ABOUT CHILDREN WITH VOICES

Children With Voices is a grassroots children's charity with over 25 years of experience supporting children and families across London. Based at Fawcett Estate Community Hall in Clapton, Hackney, we run a Community Food Hub, alternative education, SEN support, and community programmes including Jumping Beans. We have supported over 100,000 families and are recognised nationally for our work.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As we grow, we need an experienced Operations Manager to help us run well behind the scenes — so everything on the frontline can keep delivering. This is a meaningful voluntary leadership role for someone with professional experience in operations, HR, or management who wants their skills to count for something real.

You will work closely with the CEO and senior team to ensure the organisation runs efficiently, compliantly, and in line with our values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Oversight

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organisational goals

• Support departments to stay aligned, compliant, and focused on delivery

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, maximise resources, and improve impact

HR Oversight

• Oversee HR policies, compliance, and staff wellbeing in line with UK employment law and safeguarding requirements

• Support recruitment and onboarding — fair, inclusive, and safeguarding-compliant

• Provide HR guidance to managers and staff; escalate to external expertise when needed

• Maintain oversight of volunteer engagement and HR record keeping

Finance Oversight

• Supervise the Finance Coordinator (10 hrs/week) and provide accountability for financial administration

• Monitor budgets, financial reports, and expenditure in line with charity governance standards

• Ensure accurate, timely reporting to the CEO and Trustees

• Liaise with accountants, auditors, and external advisors as required

Leadership & Governance

• Work alongside the CEO, Trustees, and senior team to align operations with organisational strategy

• Provide assurance of compliance with safeguarding, data protection, charity law, and employment legislation

• Model organisational values of safeguarding, equity, inclusion, and community impact

We are the Lincs Mid, NE and Lincoln Branch of the RSPCA. Our Branch rehabilitates and re-homes animals rescued by National RSPCA Inspectors, as well as taking in animals from members of the public who can no longer care for them. We have three charity shops as well as other fundraising activity and local partnership to raise funds for our animal care activities.

We are a passionate and ambitious team seeking a new Chair of our Board. We are currently 9 Trustees with a wide range of experience. As Chair, you will lead our monthly committee meetings as well as AGM. We are hands on as a board, with a great team of staff and volunteers who deliver our core activity.

If the Chair role isn't for you, we also have opportunities on our Board to take the lead on our Charity Retail Operations or Health & Safety. We already have Trustees with specific expertise in e.g. HR and finance, and would love you to join us if you have experience in either charity retail management or health & safety.
