Job description

Volunteer with us and make a huge difference in someone's life!

We work with all faiths and none! We welcome volunteers from all walks of life and backgrounds.

Feltham Community Chaplaincy Trust (FCCT) are looking for volunteers to mentor young men aged 15-30 in HMP/YOI Feltham, up to 6 months prior to release and then up to 12 months in the community post-release. Therefore, we ask you for atleast 18 months commitment.

You would meet with the client for 1-2 hours per week and expenses will be reimbursed. You will support the client with their needs in order to reduce their chance of reoffending. Their needs will likely revolve around education and employment support, mental health support, family/resettlement support, faith/religious support and also just to be a positive and encouraging role model for them.

The role is incredibly worthy, rewarding and may be challenging at times. You will be trained and fully supported throughout your valuable time with FCCT.

Please get in touch with us for more information - we want to hear from you!
