🧡 We're looking for new trustees to help end child slavery in Nepal
Today, there are over 40 million slaves globally – a quarter of whom are children. In Nepal alone, we estimate almost 100,000 children are trapped in hazardous, exploitative labour.
Child Rescue Nepal exists to change that. We rescue children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families – and we've already helped over 1,000 children find their way home. But there's so much more to do, and we want you to help us do it.
We're building our board's experience base and are particularly keen to hear from people with skills in:
🔹 HR
🔹 Strategy and governance
🔹 International development
🔹 Knowledge or lived experience of Nepal
You don't need to have been a charity trustee before. The skills and qualities matter more than prior governance experience, and we'll give you full induction and training to get you up to speed.
Here's what one former trustee has to say about the role:
"I have learnt so much from my experience on both a personal and professional level and have felt my contributions were welcomed and valued. I really feel privileged to have been able to be part of CRN and have the opportunities to work in Nepal, and the children will always have a special place in my heart." — Sue Payne, retired social worker and trustee for four years
🌏 This is a voluntary role with real impact – a chance to bring your skills to a small, focused charity making a genuine difference in children's lives.
Applications close at the end of November 2026 – but we're reviewing and interviewing candidates on a rolling basis as they come in, so please don't wait until the deadline to apply. Applications are reviewed by the trustees, with shortlisted candidates invited to an informal interview with our Chair, David Westgate, via Zoom.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

Lilian Faithfull Care is seeking four new Trustees to bring insight, challenge and strategic leadership to a values-led charity with people at its heart.
For more than 80 years, Lilian Faithfull Care has helped older people live well, with dignity, independence and a sense of belonging. Today, we support residents and day guests across our care homes, day services and specialist dementia services, supported by a dedicated team of colleagues and volunteers.
We are looking for four new Trustees to join our Board and help guide the charity through the next stage of its development. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in areas such as HR, digital transformation, marketing, fundraising, commercial leadership, charity governance, adult social care, legal matters or board-level strategy. At KWC, we provide a safe, non-judgmental and caring environment where women can begin to build emotional resilience and regain a sense of control over their lives.
Many of the women who come to us find our service through online searches when they are actively looking for support.
Through the Google Ad Grants programme, charities like ours can access up to $10,000 per month in Google Ads credits to help people discover our services online.
We’re looking for help to ensure we are making the most effective use of this opportunity so that more women who need support can find us easily.
As a small charity with very limited marketing resources, we would hugely value the expertise of someone who can help us sense-check our current approach and guide us towards the most impactful way of structuring and running evergreen campaigns.
The goal of this project is to help more women discover our service online and feel confident taking the first step towards booking an introductory counselling assessment.
Even a modest improvement in how we use our Google Ad Grant could help more women in our local area access counselling support at the moment they are actively seeking help.
For someone with paid search experience, this project offers the opportunity to use those skills in a way that could have a direct and meaningful impact on women seeking support in their local community.
We’re primarily looking for strategic guidance and support setting up a strong evergreen campaign structure that our team can maintain over time, rather than ongoing campaign management.
We anticipate this being a short, focused project involving an account review, campaign structure recommendations, and initial set-up guidance.
We have a small but committed team who will be responsible for maintaining the campaigns over time, so your guidance will translate directly into action.
In your cover letter, please explain your interest in working together, as well as briefly detailing your prior experience in Google Ads or Google Ad Grants
Our aim is to provide counselling and therapy for women of all backgrounds in and around Kingston Upon Thames in a warm, safe and caring environment

We're recruiting on behalf of our partners at MINDSET.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (MINDSET Charity)
Build the Team. Build the Culture. Build the Movement.
MINDSET is a bold new preventative mental fitness charity for teenage boys and men in London — launching this November. We’re creating a modern, high‑energy, stigma‑free space where men learn the habits, systems, and psychological tools to stay strong long before crisis hits.
To make this mission real, we need a Volunteer Coordinator who can build the beating heart of our organisation: our volunteer team.
If you’re passionate about people, culture, and creating environments where others thrive — this is your moment.
THE ROLE: VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR (Volunteer)
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, people‑focused leader who can build our volunteer programme from the ground up. You’ll help shape the culture, recruit the team, and create the systems that make MINDSET a place volunteers want to be part of.
You’ll lead on:
Setting up our volunteer programme from scratch.
Recruiting our first wave of volunteers for November launch.
Designing a warm, structured onboarding experience.
Creating a team‑spirit culture rooted in energy, accountability, and purpose.
Supporting volunteers as they deliver our 12‑week mental fitness programmes.
Building simple, effective systems for communication, scheduling, and engagement.
Championing the MINDSET ethos — modern, bold, stigma‑free, and focused on growth.
Your work will directly shape the experience of every volunteer who joins us. You’ll be the person who sets the tone, builds the community, and ensures our team feels supported, valued, and inspired.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience of managing volunteers, HR or recruitment.
Loves building positive, energetic team cultures.
Is organised, reliable, and great at follow‑through.
Enjoys connecting with people and spotting potential.
Can create simple systems that make volunteering easy.
Wants to help build a charity from the ground up.
Can commit a few hours a week between now and November.
Believes in preventative mental fitness and early intervention.
If you’re the kind of person who naturally brings people together, you’ll thrive here.
WHY JOIN MINDSET?
1. Because you’ll shape the entire volunteer experience.
You’re not stepping into an existing system — you’re building it.
2. Because our culture is modern, energetic, and inspiring.
Think Gymshark, Huel, MyProtein — not a traditional charity bureaucracy.
3. Because your work will change lives.
Every volunteer you recruit will help boys and men build habits that keep them strong.
4. Because you’ll be part of a founding team.
Your leadership will influence how MINDSET grows for years to come.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
A chance to build a volunteer programme from day one.
Real leadership experience in a fast‑moving charity start‑up.
A supportive, passionate team who value your ideas.
Flexible volunteering you can fit around your life.
The satisfaction of knowing your work is helping prevent silent suffering.
JOIN US.

Our Organisation & Governance
Bite Back is a registered charity in England & Wales (1180969) and Scotland (SC055240). Bite Back is led by young people - not consulted as an afterthought, but led. Over 70+ core youth activists who sit on our Youth Board directly shape our strategy, campaigns, and communications, supported by thousands of young people engaged across our UK networks.
Our staff team of about 30 people works in partnership with our Youth Board, using their professional networks and expertise to create platforms for young leaders to drive systemic change.
Bite Back is overseen by a dedicated Board of Trustees, led by Chair Dr. Dolly van Tulleken.
The Board is responsible for ensuring the charity fulfills its mission, remains strictly youth-led, and maintains robust financial and operational governance. Our Board currently includes experienced professionals across health, education, finance, campaigns, and youth engagement, alongside Youth Trustees who bring essential lived experience to our governance. Our Board has a Finance Sub-Committee to support specifically with the long-term financial sustainability of the charity.
Everything we do is guided by the core values developed by our Youth Board: Fresh, Resilient, Energetic, Real, and Respectful.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI-B)
As part of our commitment to making meaningful progress towards a movement where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered, Bite Back’s DEIB vision statement has been co-developed by Bite Back’s young people, staff and trustees:
A fair food system means our working culture and values - Real, Respectful, Resilient, Fresh and Energetic - reflects this vision. We support our staf , ambassadors and trustees to live Bite Back’s values in their work.
At Bite Back, DEIB means that our people are able to join and navigate the workplace, trusting they’ll be supported to thrive, and that we’ll respond with compassion and make change when things fall short. We recognise the systems of oppression which keep marginalised groups from power, and seek to proactively build equity. We are intentional about representation. We actively recruit under-represented voices, ensuring our staf team and youth board are representative of a wide variety of lived experiences.
We push to improve outcomes for those kept furthest from power, celebrate differences and ensure accessibility is built in, not added on. Our aspiration and intention is that Bite Back is an organisation that recognises, shares and acts on its power and responsibility to young people, employees, community and wider society, driving equity and inclusion in every space, and in every decision.
You can read more about how we approach DEI-B on our website.

● Continuous Improvement: We continually review and embed inclusive practices across our recruitment, organisational culture, campaign priorities, and board governance.
