At MINDSET, we’re not here to tweak the system — we’re here to rebuild it. Men across England and Wales are stuck between long waiting lists, clinical models that don’t fit, and a culture that tells them to “man up”. We’re changing that.

We’re launching a brand-new Men’s Self‑Improvement Programme, and we’re looking for committed volunteers to help shape, deliver, and grow the work that will transform men’s lives.

The Mission

1. Build the Blueprint

Help design and develop practical, high‑impact sessions focused on mental fitness, personal growth, and real‑world self‑improvement.

2. Lead the Frontline

Support and deliver our direct work with men — creating spaces that are positive, structured, and genuinely useful.

3. Shift the Culture

Help us challenge outdated narratives about men’s wellbeing and spark a national conversation about growth, strength, and self‑leadership.

4. Evolve the Model

Gather real feedback, test ideas, and help us refine the programme so it always meets men where they are.

A bit about this role

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!
 

You can expect us to

• make you feel welcome, included and respected in line with our values and behaviours
• support you in having a positive and impactful experience at Cats Protection
• cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses in line with our Expenses Policy
• provide you with access to learning, development and engagement opportunities

What we need from you

• help set up and/or man stalls at events
• help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections
• help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances
• promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. Oxfam's Wigton Shop is looking for Shop Volunteers to help Oxfam’s fight to support the world’s most vulnerable communities.

We’re looking for volunteers who can give 4-8 hours (or more!) of their time in the shop each week, and we’re excited to welcome brand new volunteers to our stores!

Right now, we're looking for people to help in the shop in our stock room and with our ecommerce/online department!

Who we are

Travel Radar provides high quality and relevant industry insight across the Commercial Aviation 

& Air-Travel sectors. Having grown rapidly since 2015, we've gone on to become one of the 

leading providers of Aviation News available online, and in 2023 are expanding to become the 

leading digital hub for all things aviation and air-travel. With an ever-growing remote team of 

over 100 staff, we bring exciting and interesting content 24/7 from around the globe to a reach 

of over 30 million users per month.

Our mission to change how travel is seen, involves showing people how to make their journeys as 

fulfilling as possible through providing the latest news and how to improve journey quality. This

What you’ll be doing

We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Intern to join our high-performance Social Media Team. Some of the things you’ll be doing week-to-week includes:

• Assisting creating creative and engaging social media strategies for our platforms, 

and enacting them day to day

• Managing the day-to-day posting of a particular social media channel such as 

LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn

• Planning and delivering content across different platforms using scheduling tools 

such as Buffer and/or Meta Business Suite

• Assisting to develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that 

promote Travel Radar and the brand

• Forming key relationships with influencers in the aviation and air-travel space across 

your particular social media platform

• Managing and facilitating social media communities by responding to social media 

posts and developing discussions, including direct messages and mentions/@’s

• Researching and evaluating the latest trends, techniques and algorithm changes in 

order to find new and better ways of creating and measuring social media activity

What skills and experience you’ll bring to us

We are looking for a Community Engagement & Accountability Officer who is responsible for assisting in the implementation of integration activities and projects and ensuring that the needs and opinions of Second Tree community members are used to guide our work.

Your role would include:

• Creating timelines and coordinating plans for community engagement events

• Summarising relevant data collection in reports and project deliverables

• Communicating with community members and building trusting relationships

• Managing the organisation of proposals and other documents created by the CEA team

• Maintaining necessary records, files, reports, databases, and resource materials for the CEA team

• Researching information and gathering data necessary for community reporting

• Working with the wider Second Tree team to ensure that all community engagement events and projects align with organisational and programme strategies

• Supporting the CEA team by ensuring good levels of engagement with the community during activities and projects.

You should be able to:

• Be flexible with changing approaches and processes dependent on adjusting needs and contexts

• Take initiative and show high motivation

• Oversee the delivery of program activities and the completion of vital administrative and logistical tasks

• Be accountable and efficient, making sure that tasks that you take up are completed in the agreed timeframe

• Knowledge of European projects and deliverables

In certain periods of the year, demand is extremely high, and the shared houses might be full. If you have the means to pay for your own accommodation, please let us know. We would still be happy to host you if space is available. However, in a situation where the shared houses are full, this would allow us to offer an opportunity to someone that cannot afford to pay rent.

We’re seeking committed new trustees to help guide a small but ambitious charity supporting children and young people with cerebral palsy, ensuring our funds deliver meaningful, life-changing impact.

Our Board is made up of a small, committed group of trustees who bring a mix of professional expertise and personal connection to our cause. Together, we oversee a grant-making charity that has a long heritage and a clear ambition: to increase our income and ensure we can support more children and young people with cerebral palsy in meaningful, practical ways.

Like many small charities, our challenge is balancing strong governance with growth. We are financially stable and well run, but we want to think more strategically about our future: how we prioritise funding, how we grow awareness and income, and how we ensure every grant we make delivers real, lasting benefit for families. The new trustee will play an active role in shaping these conversations and helping the Board move confidently from steady state to sustainable growth.

The role is hands-on and collaborative. Trustees are expected to attend four board meetings a year, contribute thoughtfully to discussion and decision-making, and engage between meetings when specific issues arise. Depending on interest and experience, the new trustee may also be invited to take a lead role in an area of work or join a small working group, for example around fundraising development, investment oversight, or grant assessment.

This is an opportunity to influence how limited charitable funds are used where they matter most. Trustees are directly involved in decisions that enable children to access therapy, specialist equipment, and support that may not otherwise be available. For someone who wants to make a tangible difference, this is a role where your contribution can be clearly seen in the lives of the children and families we support.
