Mulberry Cancer Support, is looking for new volunteers with flexible availability to help us set up and run our stall at a variety of fun community fundraising & enagement events, mainly in West London - Hounslow, Richmond & Ealing areas - and occasionally at our Centre in Isleworth. Come and sell rafle tickets, inspire donations, hold a collection bucket, give out leaflets and engage with the public at our own events and at fetes, fairs and stadium days.

As a charity we can help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations from our supporters. Raising funds is a key role in our charity, helping to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need.
As a fundraising volunteer, we will support you every step of the way to ensure your time at Cats Protection is a positive and rewarding one. Whatever time you can give really does make a big difference We have lots of exciting activities to choose from for example attending a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, handling administrative tasks, or contributing to the development of new fundraising ideas. Whatever your skill set, this role could be perfect for you!
It is a flexible role, you have the choice to be involved in the following:
o face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping with fundraising events, attending supermarket collections and monitoring collection boxes.
o online fundraising – assisting with online appeals, increasing social media engagement to maximise funds raised.
o bringing new ideas! - We always love to come up with new ideas to raise funds for cats and we’d love to help bring yours to life.
o engaging with your local branch and Fundraising Hub and feeling like an integral part of the team.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge though Cats Protection’s learn online system, providing you with the skills to thrive as a fundraiser. You’ll also have the chance to meet new people and be part of a dedicated team of volunteers.
Money raised by our volunteers enables us to put cats first. Cats are at the centre of all we do. We care for them, ensure their welfare, and help others to understand and better support them.

Our Fundraising Volunteer roles are very flexible, often certain times of the year are busier than others. You can choose your level of involvement to suit your schedule!

We provide support and guidance from our National Cat Centre and through our regional and local volunteer groups and teams. We offer engaging online and face-to-face training, expenses and have policies and processes to help volunteers get the most out of their time with us.

Equal Aqua is an award-winning NGO working to tackle inequalities in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) across Uganda. Through partnerships with local communities, schools and grassroots organisations, we help provide sustainable access to safe water, improved sanitation, hygiene education and environmental protection initiatives.
Our international team of 30+ volunteers spans more than 10 countries, united by a shared commitment to creating lasting change. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising efforts and help us expand our impact.

As Fundraising Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in securing the resources that enable Equal Aqua to reach more communities, develop new projects and improve the lives of thousands of people across Uganda.

What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership
✅ Lead the implementation of Equal Aqua's fundraising strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, vision and values.
✅ Develop innovative fundraising initiatives to support sustainable organisational growth.
✅ Monitor funding trends and identify new grant and funding opportunities.
Fundraising & Income Generation
✅ Drive income generation through multiple fundraising channels, including:
✅ Support the development of annual fundraising targets and budgets.
✅ Monitor fundraising performance and help maximise income opportunities.
Donor & Supporter Engagement
✅ Manage and grow relationships with existing supporters and donors.
✅ Deliver exceptional supporter stewardship and donor care.
✅ Increase donor retention and maximise long-term supporter value.
Team Leadership
✅ Lead and motivate an international team of fundraising volunteers.
✅ Delegate responsibilities effectively and support team development.
✅ Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
Governance & Reporting
✅ Report regularly to the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.
✅ Contribute content and updates for grant reports and organisational reporting.
✅ Participate in team, committee and governance meetings as required.
