What we need from you

This is a really flexible role – you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example:

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins 
• online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations
• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press
• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork
• championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
• photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection
• You’ll need to be aged 18+ to volunteer in this role. If you’re aged 16-17, you’ll need to be supervised by a friend, family member, or guardian over the age of 18 in order to carry out any fundraising activity.

Time expectation

This is a flexible role that can fit around your other commitments to suit you. You’ll be part of a team raising vital funds while having fun in the process!

Cancer support charity The Mulberry Centre, is looking for new volunteers with flexible availability to help us set up and run out stall at a variety of fun community fundraising & enagement events, mainly in West London - Hounslow, Richmond & Ealing area. Come and sell rafle tickets, inspire donations, hold a collection bucket, give out leaflets and engage with the public at our own events and at fetes, fairs and stadium days.

Fundraising Trustee (Milton Keynes)

This is an exciting opportunity to be a hands-on trustee at branch level, helping to promote kindness and prevent animal cruelty, reach out to more supporters, and influence how we do things. With your support and expertise, we will achieve so much! We’re looking for a dedicated Fundraising Trustee to help us grow our impact and secure vital resources for the animals who need us most.

Overview of the Fundraising Trustee opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person who could devote the time to volunteer with us as one of our Trustees. As a Trustee of the Branch, you will have the chance to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals and drive the implementation of key initiatives. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental in the running of the Branch and setting out both the short and long terms aims.

As a minimum, trustees would normally be expected to attend a monthly committee meeting lasting some 2 to 3 hours. However, the commitment may vary depending on whether the trustee takes on additional duties.

About the RSPCA

Founded in 1824 we have been saving animals for almost 200 years and are proud to be the oldest welfare charity around. It has always been our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion, so our volunteers and employees work tirelessly to ensure that all animals can live free from pain and suffering.

The RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks Branch

The Milton Keynes & North Bucks Branch is one of the branches of RSPCA, but we are also a separately registered charity looking after animals in our local area. Much of the animal welfare work of RSPCA is carried out through local branches, which is run by volunteers who have the support of the National Society of RSPCA.

Primary responsibilities of the Fundraising Trustee

• Lead on developing and delivering fundraising strategies
• Help identify new income streams and build relationships with donors, sponsors, and community groups
• Support and advise the board on fundraising best practices
• Champion our cause and represent the branch at events and in the community
• Identify grant opportunities and apply for relevant funding streams via grants

What we are looking for in a Fundraising Trustee:

We are looking for people from all social and cultural backgrounds, with experience and skills in any of the following areas:

• Experience in fundraising, marketing, or income generation
• Strong networking and communication skills
• A commitment to animal welfare and the values of the RSPCA
• Willingness to attend monthly trustee meetings and contribute time between meetings

Alongside the relevant experience, we are looking for someone who is committed to the RSPCA’s charitable objectives and shares our passion for animal welfare. You would be creative, innovative, bring a fresh perspective, and can put ideas into action.

Our voluntary roles are subject to an informal interview and trial period. We will ask you to provide contact details for two referees, and dependent on the position, you may need to sign an agreement and undergo specific training before starting the role.

Curans provides an AI-powered virtual patient simulator that enables medical students to master clinical reasoning, examination, and diagnosis in a safe, scalable environment.

Many medical students graduate with insufficient hands-on experience in clinical reasoning and patient communication. Traditional training involving real or simulated patients is often prohibitively expensive, time-restricted, and unavailable in low-resource settings. This gap forces students to rely on rote memorization rather than structured clinical thinking, leading to inconsistent feedback, increased patient safety risks, and systemic inequality in medical education quality (SDG 4).

Curans addresses this educational gap with an AI virtual patient simulation platform that allows learners to practice the entire clinical workflow—from taking history and performing virtual exams to ordering labs and planning management—within a risk-free digital space. The platform provides instant, data-driven feedback on clinical reasoning and communication, helping students refine their skills before they ever step into a real clinic. About the role 

At Curans, we are providing a safe environment for medical students and early-career doctors to practice with virtual patients before they ever touch a real one.

We are looking for someone who believes in this mission and wants to help us grow. 

In this role, you will help us move our fundraising forward. You will research investors, angel investors, venture capital firms, accelerators, grants, and funding opportunities that match Curans. You will help us build strong investor lists, improve outreach, and focus on the opportunities that give us the best chance to grow.

Your work will directly support our next stage of growth.

• Research relevant investors, VCs, angel investors, grants, and accelerator opportunities
• Build and update clear investor and funding pipelines
• Fill in funding applications and help us submit strong, clear, and well organized answers

It is a big plus if you have experience in startups, venture capital, grants, accelerators, fundraising, or investor outreach.

We are seeking someone with understanding or experience of community and grant fundraising to join our board. The role involves leading our fundraising sub committee and providing a sounding board for our fundraising manager to deliver our fundraising strategy. 

What will you be doing?

Specific to the fundraising lead trustee role, your responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the fundraising sub committee.
• Work alongside the board to plan what level of funds must be raised to ensure the effective running of the charity.
• Be a sounding board for, and provide oversight of our fundraising manager.
• Lead on the board’s direct engagement with local fund-raising opportunities.
• Provide feedback to the fundraising manager. 

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate would demonstrate: 

• An understanding of, and commitment to, the work of the Glasgow South West Foodbank.
• Understanding of, and passion for, fundraising.
• An ability to use that understanding to lead the fundraising sub committee and engage with the fundraising manager in a supportive and confident manner.

Would you like the opportunity to volunteer with a national charity raising awareness and funds for the thousands of people affected by dual sensory loss in the UK?

We are looking for friendly, outgoing people with good communication skills to join our Community Fundraising Team.

What we'd like you to do.....

You will use your enthusiasm, great interpersonal skills and independent working abilities to support our passionate team and to raise funds for Deafblind UK in your community. All materials to support your role will be supplied by Deafblind UK, including a fundraising pack with ideas for raising money and all the information you might need. The Fundraising Team will also be on hand to provide ongoing support, advice, and guidance.

Deafblindness affects everyone in different ways. Some people might have mild sight and hearing loss whereas others can’t see or hear anything. It can be isolating and lonely and can lead to mental health issues - but it’s far more common than many people realise. Around 450,000 people are affected by sight and hearing loss in the UK.

Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity (Alex TLC) is a small, independent rare disease charity competing for essential resources within an extremely competitive arena.

Like many other small charities, we have grown organically from an informal support group to the recognised voice for leukodystrophy patients and their families. In order to fulfil our charitable objectives we need to increase and sustain our corporate income levels.

As a Fundraising Group Leader at Canine Partners, you’ll lead a team of local volunteers to plan and deliver fun, impactful fundraising events in your community. From coffee mornings to dog shows, you’ll help shape the group’s activities, run monthly meetings, and keep everything running smoothly.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is confident, friendly, and ready to make a difference. You’ll be the key link between your group and the Canine Partners fundraising team and will be supported every step of the way with training, resources, and expert guidance.

About the opportunity

This role involves taking on the responsibility for leading a group of fellow volunteers to arrange fundraising events in your local community. You would host regular group meetings to discuss upcoming activities and ensure plans are in place for events throughout the year.

We request that there should be a minimum requirement of one meeting per month, as well as additional planning and activity when required. However, the amount of time you commit depends on the nature of the activities held by the group.

The Online Fundraising and Campaign Manager ensures that all digital campaigns—from social media drives to crowdfunding initiatives—are strategically designed, executed, and optimised for impact. You will lead online engagement, campaign planning, and donor acquisition strategies, connecting supporters to the CIC’s mission and converting attention into meaningful action. This is not a passive posting role—it is strategic, high-energy, and central to scaling the CIC’s digital impact.

This role exists to:

• Plan, launch, and manage online fundraising campaigns across multiple digital platforms
• Coordinate with Content and Donor Communication Specialists to ensure cohesive messaging
• Analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies in real time for maximum engagement
• Support the Fundraising Director with digital strategy, reporting, and optimisation
• Ensure campaigns comply with safeguarding, ethical, and CIC standards
• Develop creative fundraising initiatives that engage online communities
• Track donor journeys from awareness to contribution, improving retention and growth

You are the digital architect of campaigns that mobilise supporters and funds.

Essential / Highly Valued Experience

• Experience using online fundraising platforms such as JustGiving, GoFundMe, Stripe, Patreon, or similar tools
• Experience in digital campaign planning, execution, and optimisation
• Strong understanding of social media marketing, including platform-specific strategies and analytics
• Experience with email marketing tools and CRM systems for supporter engagement and fundraising
• Ability to monitor, analyse, and interpret performance data to inform decisions
• Experience producing clear reports and insights for non-technical audiences and leadership
• Strong written communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling calls to action
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate and test innovative campaign ideas
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Understanding of ethical fundraising, safeguarding, and data protection principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and volunteers

Main Responsibilities/ Key Duties

• Design and deliver online fundraising campaigns: Plan, implement, and manage end-to-end digital fundraising initiatives across social media, crowdfunding platforms, email marketing, and web-based channels. Ensure campaigns are aligned with organisational goals, audiences, and key fundraising moments.
• Develop innovative engagement strategies: Create and test creative campaign ideas, challenges, peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, and digital engagement activities that motivate supporters to donate, share, and advocate. Continuously explore new trends and tools in online fundraising.
• Coordinate creative assets: Work collaboratively with Content, Communications, and Donor Engagement teams to develop compelling copy, visuals, videos, and calls to action. Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and branding across all digital channels.
• Campaign optimisation and performance monitoring: Track and analyse campaign metrics such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, donation values, and supporter growth. Use insights to adjust strategies in real time and improve campaign effectiveness.
• Data-driven decision making: Interpret analytics and audience behaviour to refine targeting, messaging, timing, and platform use. Support evidence-based recommendations for future fundraising activity.
• Compliance and ethical standards: Ensure all online fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations, platform terms, safeguarding policies, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising standards. Promote transparency and donor trust at all stages.
• Reporting and accountability: Prepare clear and timely reports on campaign performance, outcomes, and learning for leadership and stakeholders. Highlight successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Volunteer collaboration: Engage and coordinate volunteer teams and digital ambassadors to amplify campaigns, encourage peer sharing, and extend reach within communities and networks. Provide guidance and motivation to support consistent messaging.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, and processes for online fundraising. Share learning across teams to strengthen organisational digital fundraising capacity.
