The National Youth Advocacy Service is a wonderful children's rights charity dedicated to supporting and empowering young people who have experienced care.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers in Launceston to befriend and mentor a young person in care.

Executive Assistant for the CEO

We are looking for an Executive Assistant volunteer to support the CEO of Sembeza Africa. You will handle core administrative tasks, coordinate volunteer operations and contribute ideas for income generation. 
You are expected to:

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, communication and office workflow.
• Prepare documents, presentations, and materials for executive meetings and Board sessions.
• Organize approved travel plans and process related expenses.
• Keep accurate, confidential files for the CEO’s office.
• Generate practical ideas for fundraising and identify possible income streams.
• Draft initial proposals and pitch materials for donors or partners.
• Coordinate daily support for field volunteers, including logistics, transport stipends, credit allocation, and expense processing.
• Act as the main communication point for volunteer operational requests.

Skills and Qualifications

• At least one year of administrative or executive support experience.
• Ability to manage complex schedules and high-volume tasks.

Sherborne Museum is looking for a friendly, organised volunteer to join us as Front of House Team Co-Ordinator. This key role supports our valued team of volunteer stewards and helps ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our visitors. We’re looking for admin volunteers to help with our daily operations.  We have a variety of ways you can get involved:

• Responding to client requests and enquiries
• Fundrasing and partnership management
• Managing and updating company databases
• Keeping track of partnership enquiries
• Maintaining internal, volunteer, and client records
• Drafting and mailing client correspondence and newsletters
• Organising events, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
• Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed

We’ve designed our volunteering programme to be flexible and adaptive to you.  All volunteering is 100% remote and you’re supported fully by our team.  You control what you do and how many hours per week you want to volunteer.  Some roles may require an Enhanced DBS check. If your application is successful, we will ask for a donation towards the cost of your enhanced DBS check if it's required for your role. This cost is £22.60.
