Online Sales Volunteer (Vinted & eBay)

Help turn donated treasures into vital funds for our charity!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and trustworthy volunteer to support our online sales through Vinted and eBay. If you enjoy spotting valuable items, researching prices, taking photos or have an interest in online selling, this could be a rewarding role for you.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll help us raise extra funds by preparing and listing donated items for sale online.

Tasks may include:

• Identifying suitable donated items for online sale
• Preparing and presenting items for listing
• Taking clear, appealing photographs
• Researching pricing and helping value items
• Creating listings on Vinted and eBay
• Monitoring and assisting with online sales activity
• Packing sold items ready for posting
• Taking parcels to local drop-off points
• Helping maximise income from donated goods

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is trustworthy, reliable and enthusiastic
• Has good attention to detail
• Is comfortable using online platforms or willing to learn
• Enjoys researching and practical tasks
• Has an interest in online selling and fundraising
• Can work independently and use initiative
• Has experience with Vinted, eBay or similar selling platforms (beneficial, but not essential)

Time commitment

• Shifts are usually 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm

Regular weekly volunteering preferred, with some flexibility available.

Volunteer I&A Telephone Support Assistant

Make a real difference with just a friendly voice and good listening skills.

We’re looking for warm, organised volunteers to help answer calls to our Information & Advice (I&A) service. You’ll take basic enquiry details, log them onto our system, and help ensure residents who are 18+  get the support they need. We would ask for a commitment of a few hours a week.

What you’ll do

• Answer incoming calls in a calm, friendly and professional way
• Take clear messages and note down enquiry details
• Log information onto our CRM system (Salesforce)
• Keep all client information confidential
• Follow simple call‑handling guidance
• Flag urgent concerns to a member of staff
• Support small admin tasks linked to the service
• Join occasional team meetings or training sessions

Our Charity Shop in Chesham, Buckinghamshire

Our shops play an essential role in raising the profile of the RSPCA in our local community and funds for our branch, so that we can continue our vital animal welfare work. This role is based in our Chesham shop which sells a mixture of donated items, including clothes, books, bric-a-brac and collectables, and a selection of new items.

Volunteer E-commerce Assistant responsibilities

• Researching and listing the items for sale in our dedicated eBay store.

• A picture is worth 1,000 words so ensuring that attractive photographs are taken to boost eBay sales.

• Writing detailed and accurate descriptions of items.

• Responding in a timely and professional manner to any enquiries received from potential buyers. 

• Monitoring our eBay listings and account to keep them up to date. 

• Packaging items appropriately before taking them to the local post office and posting to the buyer. Parcels are small to medium sized.

• Maintaining accurate records of listed and sold items.

What we are looking for in volunteer E-commerce Assistant

• Ideally, you would have experience in selling items on eBay or other online selling sites.

• Can create attractive and accurate listings for a wide variety of items. 

• IT literacy and ability to use our laptop is required, as is the ability to use a mobile phone (provided) to take and upload clear photographs. 

• Capable of researching the origin and value of items using a variety of sources. 

• Reliability and an ongoing commitment (minimum of 2 months) are required.  Someone who can offer approximately 2 hours on their chosen day(s).  The shop is open Mon-Sat, between 9.30am-5pm and the role can be carried out at any time during opening hours.  We are happy to divide the role between several volunteers. 

• Capable of working with minimal supervision, once fully trained. 

• Volunteers need to be aged 18 or over.

• This role may be subject to a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Services) to ensure the safety of children and vulnerable adults. 

• Must be able to complete online induction training. You will need basic IT skills and access to a computer.

What is the role?

This role sits within the RAF Museum’s Midlands Development Programme which will transform our museum and our impact on the local community though a series of phased projects – engaging audiences who may not obviously identify with the RAF story by finding common interests and histories which link them. As part of this project, we are planning a new learning centre, outdoor spaces, collections hub and major exhibition.

The RAF Museum is looking for a small team of Communications and Marketing Volunteers. The role can be based in Cosford , Stafford or London, with the option to assist remotely. This person will volunteer alongside the Communications and Marketing team and is suited to someone interested in content creation and social media, has good writing and communication skills, and is keen to assist with a wide range of exciting filming, promotional, news and event opportunities.

What will I be doing?

You will be assisting the Communications and Marketing team with a range of activities, including:

• Using the Museum collections to create social media posts
• Creating video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X including captions so content is accessible
• Drafting social media posts for multiple platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and Blue Sky), dependent upon the subject/content

· Meeting with staff onsite to develop ideas for stories

· You will be invited to attend events or interview staff and other professionals involved in the Midlands Development Programme

· Develop written and video blogs based on content from either our Midlands site, our stored collection in Stafford, or content in London related to the Midlands Development Programme

· Capture photos to support blog posts and general marketing campaigns

· Assist with updating content on the Museum’s website

· Support the team by hosting media visits and attending events both on and off-site

• Assist with research and content planning, by identifying awareness days, RAF and other relevant anniversaries, and trending topics to help build the content calendar
• Adapt existing blogs, videos and stories into short-form social posts, newsletters or LinkedIn content
• Assist with the analysis of campaigns
• Submit draft content to the team for sign off and publication of content.

This role is perfect for you if you…

· Have good copywriting skills with a good level of spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as having a creative flair for producing engaging copy

How much time would I need to commit?

This is a flexible role in terms of days and hours, depending on the projects and activities taking place at the Museum which require communications support. Many of the content projects can be done at a time and pace mutually agreed.

Project Yananai is seeking ambitious, proactive and results-driven Fundraisers to join our growing global Advancement team. We're looking for people who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships and convert them into sustainable funding that enables our programmes to create lasting social impact.

Working alongside our Chief Advancement Officer and Deputy Chief Advancement Officer, you'll play a key role in securing the funding needed to expand our work across India, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This role is offered on a Commission-Based Agreement, rewarding individuals for the funding they successfully secure.

Key Responsibilities

·Research and identify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, institutional donors, corporate partners and philanthropic organisations.

·Build and maintain relationships with prospective funders, partners and supporters.

·Develop compelling grant applications, funding proposals and sponsorship opportunities.

·Generate new fundraising leads through networking, outreach and relationship building.

·Manage funding opportunities from initial prospect through to successful award.

·Work collaboratively with programme teams to develop high-quality funding proposals.

·Maintain an active pipeline of funding opportunities using our CRM and AI-powered fundraising platform.

·Represent Project Yananai professionally with donors, corporate partners and external stakeholders.

·Contribute ideas and initiatives that help grow Project Yananai's fundraising capability.

·Support donor stewardship and help build long-term funding relationships.

About You

·You may come from a charity fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, account management, corporate relationship management or marketing background.

·A proven ability to generate income, win new business, secure funding or develop strategic partnerships.

·Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

·Previous fundraising or grant-writing experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from professionals with transferable experience in generating revenue, developing client relationships or securing commercial opportunities.

About the role:

As a Shop Volunteer you’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team of volunteers and staff who support each other and have a lot of fun along the way. We value every volunteer and the unique perspective, skills and energy you bring. 

Whether you’re sorting donations, creating beautiful displays, or chatting to customers, every task you take on helps to build a more inclusive world. 

We value volunteer development, and as part of this role your can develop your skills further by training to become a till user alongside your regular shop volunteer responsibilities, or progressing into a Key volunteer, a role which includes opening, running, and closing the shop in the absence of the manager.

No matter your reason for volunteering – whether it’s to meet new people, build new skills or support Sense’s cause – there’s a place for you in one of our shops. 

Due to the nature of the role, we require all applicants to be aged 16 or over. You must have a UK address to volunteer with Sense.

Key responsibilities: Shop volunteer 

You’ll spend time doing a range of activities, including:

• Welcoming and assisting customers, providing great customer service, helping create a wonderful shopping experience.
• Receiving donated items from the public, thanking them for their support.
• Sorting, steaming and preparing donations for sale.
• Helping to display stock in eye-catching and exciting ways.
• Keeping the shop floor clean, safe and tidy.
• Talking to customers about Sense and the work we do.

Key responsibilities: Till volunteer

Being a till volunteer includes all the same responsibilities as a shop volunteer, however, when you’re ready, we’ll provide you with additional training to:

• Serve customers on the till in a warm and friendly way.
• Put sales through the till, packing them and thanking the customer for shopping with us.
• Talk to customers about Gift Aid and other fundraising initiatives.

Key responsibilities: Key volunteer 

Being a Key volunteer includes all the same responsibilities as a shop and till volunteer. However, if you’re interested in taking on additional responsibilities, you can train to become a Key Volunteer, helping the shop manager by:

• Helping supervise the shop and other volunteers.
• Supporting the shop manager to make sure customers have a great experience.
• Opening and closing the shop when needed.
• Cashing up at the end of the day.

Wild We Stand is a fully volunteer-led collective and this is a volunteer opportunity. We are a flat collective where everyone belongs, a co-creation space where we get excited about your work, support your ideas, and want you to thrive with genuine freedom. We highly value our team’s time and expertise, and provide learning opportunities, perks, and a community for us all. While this is currently a volunteer role, as a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), our shared goal is to build a sustainable pathway to paid roles as the collective grows. Location Policy: Fully Globally Remote. Must be available for 1-2 hours of meetings weekly within core UK hours to collaborate with the team.

What is the role?

As our Movement & Strategy Director, you will be the first new addition to our leadership team, and directly work alongside our co-founders to create narrative strategy and translate concepts into clear movement direction.

You will help us design strategy and structure to help grow the collective. We are just starting our journey or assessing membership models, grants, and creating project timelines to host more & bigger events and build a sustainable pathway to pay our collective members and founder.

This is a volunteer position. Your work in our purpose-driven collective will have a direct role in shaping the visual language of a justice-centred environmental movement.

What will you be responsible for?

1. Partner directly with our co-founders to finalise and launch our Manifesto, create our Narrative Strategy, co-design campaign concepts and strategic hooks

2. Help to build and launch a community membership model to generate revenue for bigger events, project budgets, and collective pay

3. Map out project timelines and strategic roadmaps to turn ideas into structured, executable campaign timelines

4. Identify and help to submit applications for grassroots micro-grants, council climate funds, and community pots

5. Commitment to a decolonised imagination that connects conservation to the intersections of wildlife and oppression

6. An unwavering drive to confront the consequences of capitalism and systems of power with the urgency required for genuine change and justice

What are we looking for?

1. Proven experience growing or co-leading a collective, non-profit, grassroots movement, or community initiative

2. Background or experience in narrative strategy, movement communications, campaign messaging, in related spaces (conservation, environment, culture, social justice, community)

3. A strategic mindset, excited to ideate, build and create

4. Ability to bring strategic timelines and structure while preserving our grassroots ethos

5. Self-directed initiative to take big concepts and turn them into clear, structured project plans

6. A collaborative, non-hierarchical mindset that thrives in a flat collective structure

• Existing connections to environmental, climate justice, or grassroots grant funding networks

About the Role

We are Buttons & Bubbles C.I.C. and our mission is to increase inclusion and representation for the disability community across society. We offer a variety of services including bespoke characters, workshops, free resources, events, sensory trails, and more.

We are looking for volunteers to help us apply for and secure funding to support our valuable work. This role can be done remotely, with no fixed rota, and the amount of time you give is flexible.
