Position: Volunteer Database Administrator (Salesforce).
Location: Remote, with a minimum of 3-4 hours of overlap with UK working hours.

Purpose of these volunteer roles
We are seeking 2–3 enthusiastic volunteers to help us clear a backlog of membership applications, process new applications, and maintain, manage, and optimise our Salesforce platform. To meet our needs, we are recruiting for two distinct volunteering roles based on level of Salesforce expertise:
Role 1: Data Entry & administration – Perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on database experience, or those who are passionate about data accuracy and enjoy structured, routine administrative tasks. You will focus on day-to-day data entry, updating member records, and maintaining high data accuracy.
Role 2: Salesforce optimisation & reports (experienced Salesforce specialist) – Designed for individuals with extensive Salesforce expertise. You will focus on building custom reports, creating dashboards, and optimising system workflows to improve efficiency.
Both roles are essential for ensuring our membership data is up-to-date and accurate, GNDR gets the most out of our Salesforce platform, and our global communications are impactful, targeted and relevant to our members.

We are seeking an Email Marketing & Retention Manager to help build, improve, and manage the communication systems that support audience engagement, membership retention, fundraising campaigns, and community growth across the organisation.
About the role:
As Email Marketing & Retention Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing email marketing strategies, retention campaigns, and audience communication systems that strengthen relationships with members, supporters, and the wider community.
You will help create structured communication journeys that improve engagement, increase retention, and support organisational growth through ethical and mission-aligned marketing practices.
This role sits at the intersection of CRM management, analytics, automation, content strategy, and customer experience. Your work will directly affect how people connect with the organisation, engage with campaigns, participate in membership services, and remain informed about our work and mission.

Main Responsibilities / Key Duties
· Develop, manage, and optimise email marketing campaigns across onboarding, newsletters, fundraising, retention, and community engagement.
· Build and maintain automated communication workflows and audience journeys.
· Manage audience segmentation to ensure communications are personalised, relevant, and effective.
· Work with the Analytics and Insights team to monitor, analyse, reforecast, and report campaign performance.
· Track retention, engagement, conversion, and communication performance metrics.
· Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging email templates, messaging, and campaign visuals.
· Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging across all communication channels.
· Manage CRM systems, subscriber databases, and email marketing platforms effectively.
· Ensure accurate data flows between CRM systems, automation tools, and analytics platforms.
· Support fundraising and promotional campaigns through strategic communication planning.
· Implement A/B testing and optimisation strategies to improve campaign performance and engagement.
· Monitor the effectiveness of offers, promotions, and retention campaigns within target audiences.
· Maintain audience lists and communication systems in compliance with GDPR and ethical data practices.
· Support the development of long-term retention and community engagement strategies.
· Document workflows, reporting processes, and campaign structures clearly for continuity and collaboration.
· Work within existing organisational systems while recommending improvements where appropriate.
· Collaborate with safeguarding, digital, and operations teams when handling sensitive or protected audience data.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 3+ years experience in Email Marketing, CRM, or Retention Management.
· Strong experience managing email marketing campaigns from planning through execution and reporting.
· Practical experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, or similar systems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience using analytics and data insights to improve audience engagement and retention.
· Ability to manage multiple campaigns, workflows, and deadlines effectively.
· Understanding of CRM systems, automation tools, and audience segmentation strategies.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work collaboratively across digital, design, and content teams.
· Understanding of GDPR principles and ethical communication practices.
· Equivalent professional or voluntary experience accepted.
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Experience working within non-profit, CIC, advocacy, or community-led organisations.
· Experience supporting fundraising or membership campaigns.
· Familiarity with SMS marketing, push notifications, or multi-channel retention systems.
· Experience building automated customer or member journeys.
· Understanding of behavioural engagement and retention strategy.
· Experience using reporting dashboards and campaign analytics tools.
· Experience working in media, education, healing, or social impact environments.

Will you share your counselling or psychotherapy skills as a counsellor or therapist to join an online counselling service for patients and families affected by a chronic pain condition (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)?
We're looking for 3 qualified counsellors, psychotherapists or psychologists volunteers ideally with some experience of working with chronic pain patients or lived experience of chronic illness, who may want to volunteer their skills supporting our adult service users (aged 18 & over) and help us to continue developing a mental health support service.
As a Volunteer Counsellor/Therapist you’ll be providing remote counselling/therapy support services to adults aged 18 and over many of whom are isolated and in need of mental health services. You’ll be providing one-to-one counselling/therapy sessions online via Zoom or by phone. With your recognised counselling qualifications and experience you will be an asset to our small charity and to our services users.
Depending on your qualifications, skills and experience, our volunteer counsellors / therapists provide person centred counselling (general talking counselling) or integrative counselling, or specialist services such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, CFT and EMDR for CRPS patients, or their families & close relatives.
People will be referred both by health or legal professionals as well as having patients and carers themselves referring into to the service.
In this role you’ll be able to develop your counselling and therapy skills, organisation, communication and team working skills.
Most importantly you’ll be providing essential services that help make sure no one has to face CRPS alone. Be the hope for CRPS.
What the role involves
This role may vary depending on needs, but is likely to include:
Undertake client assessments following triage by Clinical Lead, followed by counselling / therapy (via Zoom or phone) to our clients, offering up to 20 sessions for each client plus a check in and 4 psychometric assessments
Providing one-to-one counselling sessions to clients aged 18 & over
Update our database with the client’s information, sessional notes and session attendance
Maintain succinct, relevant session notes and store these confidentially and securely in acccordahce with GDPR
Attend CPD training to ensure your knowledge stays current
We can support you to develop the skills you need for this role, including a full induction. You will have a chance to discuss your role and any additional needs with us. We can offer you a supervisor as well as expenses for annual insurance and an external supervisor if required.
What you need for this role
Essential
Willing and able to provide counselling via Zoom from a private location with a stable WiFi connection
Able to support a minimum of 3 clients a week, being three hours of your time for therapy sessions plus time for administration and attending group supervision for 1.5 hours a month. We ideally hope you to offer the charity a minimum commitment of six months.
Desirable
Once we’ve assessed your application, you may be invited for interview. If you are successful, we will arrange for you to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service DBS or Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check.

You will join the charity during a critical and challenging period where referrals are on the rise and your expert knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our success. You will have a key role in not only developing a counselling service for our clients but also ensure we provide counselling services and mental health support to our CRPS patients & their families who are in need of our support and inclusion on a regular basis. With your help we will expand our support and mental health services to ensure our service users receive mental health support that they may not have been offered.

The Mulberry Centre is looking for opportunities to identify and apply for relevant grants, trust and foundations funding in a competitive market. Grant requests will be on average £500-£10,000 for specific services as well as core Centre costs. This Fundraising Volunteer (the role can be undertaken by one volunteer or split into two parts and shared) will work closely with the Fundraising and Engagement Team to help streamline the research and application process. The first part of the role is to research and check grants and trust funding lists and databases for current opportunities and deadlines for applications to determine which are relevant, where we meet the necessary criteria, and how quickly we need to apply. The second part of the role is to draft and adapt application information to inspire and appeal positively to specific funders.
