About CPRE London
As part of the national network of CPRE, the Countryside Charity, CPRE London campaigns to save and promote green spaces in Greater London. Our vision is "a city with a network of green spaces which are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency."
Reports to: DIrector of Operations, CPRE London.
What will you be doing?
- Drafting funding proposals, tailoring and submitting applications to grant providers
- Participating in developing fundraising strategy
- Researching potential funders, other income streams, including digital fundraising, sponsored events (focused on promoting climate-friendly actions)
- Collaborating on fundraising activites with the team, assisting with crowd funding initiatives, writing pitches, marketing media (depending on experience)
Time Commitment:
- ~ 7-15 hours/ week
- There is an option to come to the office on Tuesdays or Thursday, preferably on a weekly basis to help build a dynamic and cohesive team
- To be effective in your role, a minimum of 6 months' commitment is preferred
Essential (E) or Desirable(D) Skills / Experience. Please provide examples or evidence where possible.
- Significant experience of fundraising, bid writing (good descriptive writing skills), or marketing work (E)
- Persuasive communication skills (E)
- Good interpersonal skills, experience working with multiple stakeholders (E)
- Analytical research skills (E)
- Educated to at least degree level (E)
- Understanding and appreciation of environmental issues (D)

Project Yananai is seeking ambitious, proactive and results-driven Fundraisers to join our growing global Advancement team. We're looking for people who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships and convert them into sustainable funding that enables our programmes to create lasting social impact.
Working alongside our Chief Advancement Officer and Deputy Chief Advancement Officer, you'll play a key role in securing the funding needed to expand our work across India, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This role is offered on a Commission-Based Agreement, rewarding individuals for the funding they successfully secure.

Key Responsibilities
·Research and identify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, institutional donors, corporate partners and philanthropic organisations.
·Build and maintain relationships with prospective funders, partners and supporters.
·Develop compelling grant applications, funding proposals and sponsorship opportunities.
·Generate new fundraising leads through networking, outreach and relationship building.
·Manage funding opportunities from initial prospect through to successful award.
·Work collaboratively with programme teams to develop high-quality funding proposals.
·Maintain an active pipeline of funding opportunities using our CRM and AI-powered fundraising platform.
·Represent Project Yananai professionally with donors, corporate partners and external stakeholders.
·Contribute ideas and initiatives that help grow Project Yananai's fundraising capability.
·Support donor stewardship and help build long-term funding relationships.
About You
·You may come from a charity fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, account management, corporate relationship management or marketing background.
·A proven ability to generate income, win new business, secure funding or develop strategic partnerships.
·Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
·A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach.
·Excellent organisational and time management skills.
·A genuine passion for creating positive social impact.
·Previous fundraising or grant-writing experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from professionals with transferable experience in generating revenue, developing client relationships or securing commercial opportunities.
