Project Yananai is seeking ambitious, proactive and results-driven Fundraisers to join our growing global Advancement team. We're looking for people who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships and convert them into sustainable funding that enables our programmes to create lasting social impact.
Working alongside our Chief Advancement Officer and Deputy Chief Advancement Officer, you'll play a key role in securing the funding needed to expand our work across India, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This role is offered on a Commission-Based Agreement, rewarding individuals for the funding they successfully secure.

Key Responsibilities
·Research and identify funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, institutional donors, corporate partners and philanthropic organisations.
·Build and maintain relationships with prospective funders, partners and supporters.
·Develop compelling grant applications, funding proposals and sponsorship opportunities.
·Generate new fundraising leads through networking, outreach and relationship building.
·Manage funding opportunities from initial prospect through to successful award.
·Work collaboratively with programme teams to develop high-quality funding proposals.
·Maintain an active pipeline of funding opportunities using our CRM and AI-powered fundraising platform.
·Represent Project Yananai professionally with donors, corporate partners and external stakeholders.
·Contribute ideas and initiatives that help grow Project Yananai's fundraising capability.
·Support donor stewardship and help build long-term funding relationships.
About You
·You may come from a charity fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, account management, corporate relationship management or marketing background.
·A proven ability to generate income, win new business, secure funding or develop strategic partnerships.
·Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
·A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach.
·Excellent organisational and time management skills.
·A genuine passion for creating positive social impact.
·Previous fundraising or grant-writing experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from professionals with transferable experience in generating revenue, developing client relationships or securing commercial opportunities.

About Us
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK's leading charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis (CF). CF is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting over 11,000 people across the UK. We fund vital research, campaign for access to life-changing treatments, and provide support to people living with CF and their families.
About the Role
Every year, incredible supporters across the UK raise funds for people affected by cystic fibrosis. We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us celebrate, support and encourage those fundraisers in their local communities, ensuring they feel valued and connected to Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
By volunteering with us, you'll help ensure fundraisers feel valued and supported, and we'll give you everything you need to feel confident in the role. Full training and support will be provided.

As a Community Fundraising Volunteer, you'll play an important role in helping us build relationships with fundraisers and supporters in your local area. Whether you're attending events, thanking supporters, delivering fundraising resources or sharing local insight, you'll help ensure fundraisers feel appreciated and connected to the impact they're having.
- Flexible time commitment
This is a flexible, ongoing volunteer opportunity that can fit around your existing commitments.
What You'll Be Doing
You could support us in a variety of ways, including:
- Attending fundraising events and representing Cystic Fibrosis Trust in your local area.
- Thanking supporters and organisers, including giving a short speech if you're comfortable doing so.
- Delivering and collecting fundraising materials and resources.
- Collecting and returning collection tins and donation boxes securely.
- Sharing local knowledge and helping identify potential fundraising or partnership opportunities.
- Providing occasional support to Community Fundraisers with local fundraising activities and events.
We recognise that every volunteer brings different strengths, experiences and interests, and aspects of the role can be tailored accordingly.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for people who:
- Are enthusiastic about supporting the work of Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
- Enjoy meeting and communicating with a variety of people.
- Have a friendly, positive and people-centred approach.
- Feel comfortable working independently, while knowing support is available when needed.
- Have basic IT skills and access to email and a phone.
- Are willing and able to travel locally to support fundraising activities.
Experience in fundraising or volunteering is helpful but not essential. We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of cystic fibrosis, either directly or through a family member, although this is not a requirement.

About The Stray Cat Charity (TSCC)
The Stray Cat Charity is a newly established UK-registered CIO working to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray cats in Greece, starting in Patras. Our current priority campaign is to raise £35,000 to build a dedicated stray cat shelter in Patras, Greece, which will provide safe housing, veterinary care, and a pathway to adoption for vulnerable cats. As a growing new charity, we are building our fundraising and outreach network across the UK.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to support the growth of our charity by helping identify and connect with potential supporters in their local area. This includes community groups, schools, corporates, and potential major donors who may be interested in supporting or fundraising for stray cats in Greece. The aim of this role is to help generate awareness, build relationships, and support fundraising activity for our current and future campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
The volunteer may support with:
- Researching local community groups, schools, faith groups, and businesses
- Identifying potential corporate partners and supporters in their region
- Contacting organisations to introduce The Stray Cat Charity and its mission
- Encouraging groups to support the charity through donations or fundraising
- Promoting our current campaign to raise £35,000 for a stray cat shelter in Patras, Greece
- Supporting or initiating community fundraising activities where appropriate (e.g. sponsored events, school fundraisers, awareness campaigns)
- Helping to raise awareness of stray cat welfare issues in Greece through local outreach
Fundraising Options
Volunteers may either:
- Focus on outreach and relationship-building, or
- Actively support or lead local fundraising efforts for the charity’s campaigns
Ideal Volunteer
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating with people and organisations
