Main Responsibilities/ Key Duties
- Coordinate member travel logistics: Provide clear guidance on transport options, arrival and departure details, accommodation information, and local travel considerations. Support members to plan journeys confidently while balancing consistency, cost-awareness, and accessibility needs.
- Primary point of contact for members: Act as a calm, reliable, and approachable contact for participants attending retreats or in-person programmes. Respond to queries promptly, clearly, and sensitively, recognising that travel and participation can be stressful or unfamiliar for some members.
- Support retreat and programme planning: Work alongside programme leads to support retreat schedules, attendance tracking, check-in processes, and on-the-day coordination. Assist with practical arrangements that enable facilitators to focus on delivery and participant care.
- Liaison with venues and teams: Coordinate with venues, facilitators, and internal teams to ensure accommodation, access, catering, room set-up, and transport arrangements meet programme needs, safeguarding standards, and agreed expectations.
- Accessibility, wellbeing, and safeguarding: Proactively identify potential accessibility barriers, wellbeing needs, or safeguarding concerns shared by participants. Escalate issues promptly and appropriately to designated leads, following organisational safeguarding procedures.
- Data management and compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant details, travel arrangements, access requirements, and communications. Ensure all information is handled confidentially and in full compliance with GDPR and data protection policies.
- Post-retreat follow-up and evaluation: Support post-programme processes, including follow-up communications, feedback collection, and contribution to evaluation activities. Help ensure participant experiences inform learning and continuous improvement.
- Systems and process development: Contribute to the creation and refinement of checklists, guides, templates, and systems that improve the consistency, care, and efficiency of future retreats and in-person programmes. Share learning and practical insights with the wider team.

Fine Cell Work (FCW) is a UK-based rehabilitation charity and social enterprise. We are supported by an incredible team of prison volunteers who are the link between the charity and the stitchers we work with in prison. Our volunteers run fortnightly stitching groups in the prisons we work with to facilitate our stitchers’ production of high-quality needlework.
Our prison volunteers work in small teams to teach our stitchers’ embroidery and needlepoint, organise their group sessions, and liaise with the prison and FCW office.
What you will do as a prison volunteer:
- Teach people in prison how to stitch and support the completion of our premade kits in our cell groups, which consist of around 10-15 stitchers.
- Communicate with staff at our hub in Battersea to receive kits and supplies for your group and send back completed work for your stitchers to be paid.
- Encourage and help stitchers to complete our Open College Network certifications in creative needlework.
- Develop stitchers’ skills and confidence by encouraging them to take responsibility as peer mentors.
- Act as an ambassador for the charity and sharing our vision and values throughout your volunteering.
Who we are looking for:
- Skills in embroidery and/or needlepoint or a willingness to learn to stitch is essential for this role.
- Ideally some teaching experience or experience working with socially-excluded groups.
- Someone with a non-judgemental attitude and commitment to rehabilitation.
- Someone who is an excellent team worker.
- Someone who is good at observing personal boundaries.
Commitment: our stitching groups run for 2 hours every fortnight, so with travel time and some admin work after groups we ask prison volunteers to set aside a morning or afternoon every 2 weeks.
You must be over 18 for this role with the ability to travel to the prison. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the charity.

Who are we?
We are a disability-led arts organisation which works to improve access to culture for disabled people by providing opportunities for disabled creatives, training cultural institutions to be more open to disabled people, and through running participatory arts and development programmes.
Our programmes have run for fifty years, supporting disabled creatives and those facing disabling barriers to creative careers or audience participation. Our current programme finds us opening new avenues for disabled creatives through commissioning, exhibitions, and learning-based support such as residencies, advice, and guidance.
We continue to break new ground in digital spheres and advocating for disabled people struggling to access the arts and creative industries through our consultancy services.

What training will you be given?
You will be given all the training you need to enable you to carry out your role. This will include a thorough Charity induction and a departmental induction to provide further information about the role. You will also be given access to our online training library to complete the training modules that are mandatory for your role.
You will receive SPECAL training prior to commencing your role.

Travel Radar is growing; We are looking for a Training Administrator to join our team and support our growth by supporting our contributors, interns and volunteers in the smooth operations of the organisation. You will have a hands-on role supporting our Learning & Development Manager in the effective running of internships, CPD programs and personal development training sessions in a remote environment.
Responsibilities and A Little More About the Role:
- Coordinating and managing the Learning Team inbox
- Tracking intern and student progression through programs and internships
- Managing data in our Learning Management System (LMS) and HR Database
- Arranging L&D Activities including training sessions and assessments, inline with instructor avaliability
- Supporting with HR activities for interns including recruitment, assessment centres and probation reviews
- Note-take meetings such as probation reviews, performance discussions and interviews
- Other administrative tasks to support interns and students, as directed by L&D Manager
Who We're Looking For:
- Passion for Business/Organisation Management, Administration and Office Management is ideal
- Willingness to learn new skills, software and (likely) a new industry - Aviation and Air-Travel
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

Youth Leaders work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By organising a mixed weekly programme, this role will support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Leaders also help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and generally encourage them to strive to be the best they can be, as well as supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.
